That's right - the title isn't a lie. I'm level 6 so far, can't read Korean - and THINK I am playing it right thus far lol.

I got to tell everyone - Thus far if it weren't for the fact that every button I press scares me because I don't know what it does because it isn't English, it would be 50% better.

But even WITH the communication issue that is quite eminent. Yes - you will LOVE the game. I have seen though that NPC enemies are somewhat ---- buggy---- but hey.

I haven't pvp'd yet. So bear with me. I don't want a bunch of korean guys yelling at me because I can't understand their orders. So far I don't think anyone knows I'm AMERICAN

Just ask away - Not much I can answer so far haven't gotten THAT far in the game - But so far I have gotten to kill Hybrids and HLO's (See thread: Enemies Galore).
I've also gotten to pilot a skiff or w/e they call them (1 man scout jet thing.)

But I'll try my best - ask away

OH Interesting is only half of it. I'm lv8 now - and to tell you the truth- PvE is getting freaking hard as heck ALREADY.

Still haven't done any PvP. And I had a butt load of license points for upgrades and etc - BUT - I have no clue what to spend on lol.

Anyways - Any race can be any of the 3 classes - Just before leaving boot camp, You can pick what class you want to be and then they send you to a main city. You meet a lady there and she gives you your classes weapon ---- She gave me a 10 shot sniper rifle that so far can kill things 1 shot.... not only that - my comp says HEADSHOT every time I nail a hybrid or anything for that matter in the noggin.

I know the beta might not have everything the game will have on release, but have you seen any kind of world map?

Maybe one that shows a bit of territory control??

There might not be that many high levels yet, but maybe just a map that shows the territories or something.


And also, I know some info had been released about it but I was always kind of confused. How exactly to you enter into the PvE zones? Is it like, walk up to a machine and they take you to some hybrid infested zone? (glad to hear the PvE is a challenge )

And when you finally do some PvP I'd like to know how you enter those battles as well.

I wouldn't be too scared of joining the PvP, it is beta after all and I doubt everyone is following orders etc.


I'd come join you on the battlefield but I don't think my computer could handle Huxley just yet. So as you progress I'll probably have tons of questions :D

I have not seen a world map yet --- but the city is GIGANTIC - there are trains on a rail system that can take you to certain parts of the city its so big.

PvE: There are sewer entrances and things like that. You can enter it to farm for items or to quest. The entrances are usually scattered and etc.

There are ALOT of people playing and surprisingly I have experienced any major lag.

haha good to hear there isn't much lag (and even in the beta! that's a great sign).

That's cool the sewers are kind of scattered around and you can just jump in and start farming.

So do the PvE mobs just drop standard loot? Like guns and armor etc.? And you run over to it and press a button to pick it up or something?

What happens when you get low HP? do you just wait for it to recharge? or do they have pots/food or something?

Alllllso, it's good to see all the different characters look pretty unique (besides the guards). Even this early in the game it looks like most people have something a little different than everyone else.

I will answer your questions in the order you asked:
You don't need to press anything- Just walk over it. Rare guns drop etc-- think of loot drops like in Diablo.

The comp says something on low HP. Armor begisn to regen when out of combat. Depending on the types of armor you have determines how much armor and how fast it regens.

Yeah I thought the pic was a nice touch. I had to escort that lady for a mission.... to my ROOM. GIGGITY!!!

To change subject.
I COULD post the link for everyone to download the client thanks to ysungsick, but I'm NOT. He was generous enough to send it to me. So don't annoy him. BUT since you would have the client you will also need an account. Sadly I can't hook you up and neither can ysungsick.

Besides - The game is pretty buggy at the moment so it's best just to wait till the American beta. Which is like- a month to two months max away. Though I have no proof of that. All I can say is that they are patching alot which is good news.

PS:
I typed Hi in the chat. I did it in a PvE instance so there was no way to be caught. But jesum this game would be ALOT more fun if there was communication involved.
