Im trying to time my BIG upgrade for around September this year, hopefully around the time this game comes out, and also around the time of my Bday :wink:

Looking to upgrade:

New cpu
amd 2500+ >> amd64 (maybe duel core, dont reall know yet)
Ram is OK (1.5 gigs)
New gfx card
9600XT >> dont know, something alot better :lol:
New mobo to support 64 chip.
And maybe another 120 gig hdd

1 gig of RAM
A total of 220 gigs for my Hard Drive.
AMD 64 3200+
ATI Radeon x800

I'm thinking I'm pretty much set for now. Probably in about a year I'll grab a new proccessor and motherboard. I'll likely be grabbing a gig of RAM as well here sometime.

I ordered a second gig of ram for my gaming pc recently cause it was dragging my Gcard down and another 512 for our 'home computer' so it will run BF2 and i can kick my sisters ass at it :P..

If i can be bothered im toying with the idea of SLI-ing my machine witha second 7800GT... but i need money to spare first

K8N neo Platinum motherboard

hoping to add another gig of ram and new gfx card, maybe a nvid 7800 somthing deffenatly gunna go SLI oh and new motherboard and cpu maybe a 4400+ 64 duel core, dunno yet

just have to find a job first to pay for it..

My computer can probably handle it on Minimal settings, but seeing as its being a piece of junk lately I?ll probably have to buy a new one. Stupid Starforce :evil:

Well my computer can handle Huxley i think quite okiesh 3,4ghz P4 and x800XTPE.

But i probably update this year. It depends on when Windows Vista comes out cause im going 64bit then. And dual core for sure and atleast a Ati X1900XT with 512 mb

I'm planning to do a major re-build, all of which has to be decided.

Looking at 6 months away tbh

New processor
Mobo (Heat Sink etc etc)
GF card (ATI)
2 gig RAM (LL Crucial)

Gonna stick with my PSU and HD's and see how it goes.

im on the same boat as you, ive had this computer over a year now and the only game ive ever been able to play on it was halo (which quickly slowed everything down, probably due to my lack of ram)
i did get a new gfx card when i played halo but it was a cheapie ati7200 i think, dont even remember but it was only like 128mb

im just waiting for huxley on the 360 tho cuz i dont feel like spending all that money to upgrade or get a new pc

Well right now i have an

AMD athlon 2700+ 2.16gHz

And 1 gig of ram

ATI Radeon 9600 256mb

I am looking to upgrade to an

AMD athlon 64 3800
2 gigs of ram

And changing to Geforce xfx 6600 PCI express

I am not to sure about the video card part. I want to waint until closer to time when some of this stuff has gone down in price and i know more of what the unreal 3 engine will need as far as system Req.
The computer i have now has lasted me a good 2 or 3 years now. I woulds like this one to last a lot alonger. lol

i have basicly just started shoping, and saving for that matter because a fiew things on my comp could use an upgrade so by the time mid sumer roll's around i'll probly get my hands on an amd dual core.. probly something like 4200 or so... but thats not going to be the one that i need to save up for.... i am looking at getting one of those damn 512 video cards.... looks like there are two out by ati...

oh, i'll probly also get up to at least another 500 ram to put me at at least 2 gig's...

I'm not building a PC specifically for huxley, but for almost every game out there. I can play all of the current-generation games (UT2k4, HL:2, etc.), but they are all on the absolute lowest level of detail, and I still only get 60-70 fps.

Your guys' computers blow mine away, because mine is a few years old, and I don't believe I would be participating in an open beta of Huxley, simply because I cannot run it.

I remember the day when I thought my 512mb of RAM would last me forever and ever...

I think I'm all set on my computer, I got a new HP a150n. Its great got AMD dual core proccessors, big harddrive, 1 gig of ram, and I put in a $250 Geforce 6600 PCI express graphics card into it.

But I dont think im going to be playing huxley on my computer going to be playing it on my xbox360. That way I can play it in 720p on my 32 inch HDTV with my 5.1 surround sound.
