My computer is really old, I can't even run BF2, but I have become interested in computer gaming instead of using consoles so her's what I'm getting: (I think)

Don't bother buying 2 video cards to run in SLI/crossfire, unless you just HAVE to play in the absolute highest resolution possible. It's simply not worth it in my opinion, because you get a negligible performance boost on reasonable resolutions (you only start to see gains at extremely high res).
By the time any 2 cards together would begin to be taxed by games at common resolutions, you could buy 1 new card for less and get better performance out of it. If you've got the extra dough you should put it into a better processor or even just a single higher-end video card, in my opinion. |

Hmm. I just don't want to upgrade again soon so I thought getting 2 good video cards would be a good idea.
