Talking New AMD Quad Core Setup With SLI

Here is a pretty extreme setup for anyone who would be crazy enouh to spend the money.

I have to say it does look nice!

I also love the idea of all those 120mm fans on the side of the case, I wonder how noisy it is mind.

Anyone know what case that is?

Wow thats a nice system. 12cm fans aren't usually too noisy but water cooling would definately be a bonus..

Quite insane as you said, although it reminds me of the Mac Pro tower which has 8-core (two quad cores) and, yes, 32 GB of memory (even though it's only 800mhz, we're talking about 8 sticks of 4GB, which is not available for PCs as far as I'm concerned). Only difference is the quad SLI setup. By the way, the 32 GB of memory costs ~10000$ (yep, only for memory!).

As for AMD, they showed off at CES earlier this week a, and I'm quoting, Dual GPU Radeon HD 3870 X2, which is a single card with two graphic processors. Imagine that times four! Crazy stuff!

The new Antec Twelve Hundred case looks awesome as well. Check out photos at: AnandTech

These new systems are too annoying to maintain, there beta testers in my opinion paying full price for the service. I'll let them fix the bugs and 25 years later i may even think about picking up Vista, But whoever has it now is a fool.
