Ok so what do you prefer, ATI or Nvidia graphics cards?

I am gonna start off with voting Nvidia

ATI has scred me for the last time i just got a nvidia 7900 and it hasnt let me down yet the ATI was auto quiting when i had bf2 and i couldnt put graphics on anyhing except low so NVIDIA IS the clear choice

Well, even though I did vote for Nvidia, I do have an ATI x1900 XT 512mb and I could say it's been running like a charm.

Although, the stock fan does run a bit too loud imo on load.

ati good for 3dsmax nvidia good for games, that what i altest picked up but sins the 8800 came out ati is left in the dust

Dunno i have NVidia on my comp and dunno much about ATI. Weird thing is that i have 2 other comps in the appartment on which i played, both of them. But ATI never seemed to create this much problems as NVidia have, but i still vote ofr Nvidia seems to have more features. Plus haven't tried anything better of Nividia then 7600 GT (7500LE sucked totaly).

yoyoy ati came out with a video card that has dx10 and faster then the 8800 and its cheeper like its 300 insted of 800

As you can see, the 2900 XT scores lower than the 8800 GTS 320mb model on DX10.

How about whichever product is better for the price?

ATI hasn't been keeping up with Nvidia's rollouts, so they're not even really a competitor in the high-end for the time being. It's become the same as AMD vs Intel. Maybe in the future they'll be on more even terms... but regardless I wouldn't recommend going by anything other than benchmark comparisons and price/dollar ana|ysis.

edit: this censor filter is ridiculous...

nonono like was benched and and ati came on and it was shown that it was more stable ill try to find the web site for it but i just read it its ati way of fight NvA

aND some games just run better with other video cards, i never trust game benches

Then where are your facts coming from if not from benchmarks?

I agree connnnn, it's unfortunate but it seems neither AMD or ATI has been able to keep up.
