If you have 12.000 Swedish krona to spend (approx. 1730 dollars) then I would go with something like this. All prices are from shg.biz and in SEK.

2081751 WD Caviar 2500AAKS, 250GB, SATAII 623,00 623,00
350825 Kingston DDR2-667, 2x1024MB, CAS 5 1.131,00 1.131,00
321205 Intel Core 2 Duo E6600, BOX, LGA775 2.803,00 2.803,00
311237 GigaByte 965P-DS3, P965, LGA775 1.166,00 1.166,00
820210 Corsair CMPSU-520HXEU, 520Watt 899,00 899,00
321369 Scythe Infinity, Multi Socket, 23,5db 373,00 373,00
811017 Performance One P180, Miditower, NO PSU 1148,00

Sure, you can use your old stuff to get the price down a bit. Personally I would save up to buy a fast harddrive aswell for the operating system and programs/games that benefit from a fast drive. You can get a Raptor 10k RMP HDD for approx. 1500SEK. But that isn't as important as high performance CPU and GPU of course.

Murvel has a pretty good system lined up. the core duo definately has the power you need to run the 8800 at full speed. Depending on when you are buying your rig and specing it out you should see if there's any of the newer 8series GPU's available (8400-8900) or AMD's 2900. If you are building the new system for playing huxley you should wait wait wait for huxley to come out before you start spending money as GPU's and CPU's are always getting cheaper and faster.

Yes i was going to wait, and by the time Huxley does come out i'll have 2x the ammount of money then i do now. But the problem is like i have a really crappy computer right now, when im home, i have nothing to do at all. It gets very boring.....:(

I totally agree. You'll regret buying a computer in a couple of months when all the new games come out.

Personally, I'd go with the Antec 900 tower and a E6300/E6400 since your motherboard has great overclocking potential, but nevertheless, this build is awesome if you're looking to buy something now.
