it may be a little early to tell but from what i can gather syn are gunna be the cool an maybe more mysterious ones. they r best looking imo and they have "powers" so im going for it. I am a gender bender i'm not gunna lie. i play and act as a girl IG just because it's easier on the eyes. anyway i don't think many girls are going to be playing the 360 version much unless they are a hardcore gamer so i would imagine most female avatars will be guy gender benders. w/e im being a syn medium/close range fighter. who else is gunna be syn???

I'm leaning towards syn but I haven't decided yet, and I'm not going to until the game is released.

Am I the only one who found this strange? Act as a girl?

In all honesty, I used to pick a female character in UT2k4 only because the model was skinnier. Therefore, hypothetically harder to see but not harder to hit.

um.... 85% of female avatars in MMORPGs are straight guys who play as girls. Technically called gender benders. IGN did a study on this topic. go check it out.

Strange? YES! uncommon? NO. Just take Myspace as an example.

I do play with a female character (on MMOs) because they're nice to watch in the end, I don't feel like spending my time watch a guys arse tbh. But I don't in anyway pretend to be a girl, I always use my mic, and it's kind hard to mix me with a girl, since I've got a REALLY deep voice, which sometimes makes people confused, if im actually 18 or 48 years old. LOL

Although I will play as a male character on Huxley, because I think it's more fiting for a FPS game.

EXACLY! you do have a point though... i might play as a male just because its an FPS... but i haven't decided yet. But the thing about guys arses thats what i always tell ppl. and i have the same problem wih the voice but i just use a ekyboard even on XBL... oh well...

ima go with sapien syn avenger but in the open beta ima try to find out all of the charachtewrs starting stats and find out what is best for my style gaming which is to be the guy that can be accurate from afar but not be a pussy and be able to rush when i am told or feel the need to kill weak ppl/players.

edit---- a charachter that has good heath and medium armour so depending on the race but avenger all the way. whatever race has the best health and can take the most damage because stealthy is not what i like to be but i can do it if i feel the need.

I like being the Stealthy bastard who is alawys stalking you MUHAHAHAHHAHAHAH! Syn seem like the kinda race that would do that So i'm DEFINATLY gonna be SYN. Wanna know why? I LIKE TO BE THE PRETTY RACE! I like to look good as well as Kick-Ass so going SYN was an EASY choice
