Sometimes snipers are just as deadly at close range. In Gears of War the Longshot rifle can kill with one hit at any distance (on a perfect reload) and it has a faster melee recovery than other weapons, even the shotgun. When you hit someone with a melee attack they have a chance to recover and dodge before you finish them off, but with the sniper rifle you can melee them and kill them while they stand there unable to recover.
So I think Phantoms should be almost completely defenseless at close range.

Yea the game should be balanced not have 1 overpowered class they should nerf them in some small way that they arent overpowered or the only class ppl want to pick but 2 snipers to a match of 200 ppl is one of the worst ideas I have ever heard. Use your head and find a way to get close range to the sniper and kill him/her.

Sometimes there simply isn't any cover to try to flank a sniper that has you pinned down. Obviously, the game can remedy this by making plenty of cover and the like. Halo2 had a big problem with sniping spots being set over an open area, to where you were in obvious site if you ever tried to advance on the sniper.

Why is 2 a bad idea. The whole point about being an assassin/sniper is that ur excellent and should be able to wipe out half the team imo.

I think if you check statistics on real armies, 2 snipers out of every 200 grunts is about right. I could be wrong but this seems about right.

Syn all the way for me. They are the phantom class for the Sapiens, and the Alternatives don't look that good to me. Plus, since the developers are making hit zones, I want a small character to minimize where I can be shot. So a female syn is much smaller than a male Alteraver.

are you forgetting armor or firpower ill be willing to risk size for weapons and armor you just need to be a crack shot to be a raver

I know what you mean. This would probably be an even bigger issue in Huxley due to the capturable strategic sites such as the lunarite mines. The side with more people will be able to occupy the sites more easily while doing other things elsewhere.

I know a lot of games make it so that heavy classes can't use certain vehicles. Like scouting vehicles to make it fair for those who do not have as much armor/hp.

I think that the Alternix are the stealthy assassins, and the Syn are just the snipers.

Well from the moment I saw the screen-shots of Huxley,I liked the way the Sapiens-One looked like, but I got to admit the Alteravers have cool looking armor. My choice is between those two but it's leaning towards the S-One.
