If anyone is interested in trying the game out, I have free trial keys for 10 days of freebie goodness.

The game has a bad reputation I know, it was released far too early and there were numerous early problems. However, graphically it is stunning, most issues have now been resolved and it is well worth a try.

It might be pretty, and it did have alot of problems. But did they actually make the game fun? The combat when I played it sucked, there were 2 or 3 building layouts that you just changed floors for each mission and the missions themselves were boring and monotonous.

The missions still aren't good. I will say that having played a bunch of other MMOs NONE of them have missions that are great after a certain period of time. Sure Warcraft has more variety.... but in the end it is kill x bad guys, get x stuff, talk to x person. And they don't even have a dot to show you where to go which is infuriating.

Guild wars has quite a nice storyline to the missions, and some fun foreshadowing, but it is all the same. Kill stuff, run places....

It is hard (if not in fact impossible) to make grinding through levels pleasurable. Matrix is fairly poor, thought the archive missions have added a bunch of fun to them. I played for the PvP - and matrix has good fun in that. It also has the strongest community I've seen - partially cause it is quite small and therefore pretty tight knit.

Anyhow, anyone wanting a free trial, just ask, you might enjoy it.... and it is free

fighting is a little buggy it looks like but i gotta say i know i was just killing little nub NPCs but that silver bullet attack is bad ASS
