Ok so say you're really good at some games, and bad at others. I wanna know how you find if you're an average gamer, above average gamer, below average gamer, elite gamer, godlike gamer.

Some games i don't need to practise because i'm good at them since start, other games i suck at and need to play a while to be a near top of the server player. Does that sound like an average gamer?
you can scratch elite or godlike gamer out of the question, i got sweaty hands, get angry when i die, and lots of other distractions and don't got the hand eye to be those 2. I'm guessing i'm average to below average because i can come back to a game i'm good at and suck when before i was good at it since the start? l'm an inconsistant/flashy player IMO.

A good FPS gamer can pick up any FPS of any type, and with a little practice master the weapons enough to pull positive k/d ratios online. That's just considering FPS.

A good gamer can pick up any game, run through the tutorial for controls and hold their own online in a day or two. That's RPGs, RTSs, Simulations, Flight sims, racing etc.

An average gamer can sit down at a game, play it for a 2 months non-stop then be able to kill most of the people they meet online at least half the time.

That's about as basic as you get.

I ment FPS btw and thx. I guess i'm average with some luck (flahsyness). Only been playing online for 2 and a half years so that's enough time to find out if you're any good.

We will see! lots of people don't wanna admit they suck but i can. When it comes down to my performance and i'm slumping i'm VERY harsh on myself.

well i dont know if im good or average or bad at fps cuz the only one i play is cod2 and my last score was 128 kills 28 deaths. so for that game im own but for others i wouldnt know.

Cod2 was a game i was good at pretty quickly, being top of the scoreboard! best was 59 kills 23 deaths! and that was less then a week playing
and i never played a cod game before, but tried it alittle after and gonna take me a few days of playing vigioursly(sp) to get back into the groove since everyones so much better now and i had 5 month break of it.

Im average to above average in most fps'...i tend to use short range weapons (because i sneak around a lot on the map), but my sniper skills are not to shabby either. My scores vary *spell check :P* but my kill to death ratio is about 3 to 1 ...depending on where im at...and what im using. My main fps that ive been playing lately is COD2.

Below average i'm guessing would be someone who nomatter how long he's played fps they just always suck. Average can be lowest but in time gets better over time, above average someone who kills more then dies and is middle to near top and elite is always top nomatter what, and godlike is the cpl pro's like fatality, and them.

Can players improve really fast? like 1 day fast. I used to play a small game where there were tons of players who were bad and they been playing a while and out of the blue quite a few of these players go from really bad to really good, like top of the score most of the time really good and kill faster and nolonger have lousey aim. Seemed REALLY fishy to me because they really suck and one day out of the blue they are leet? noway...
and the good players (good as in always good like the best players of the game) say they don't cheat or anything but i don't see how players can improve from really bad to really good in 1 day....and from that day on they have played really good since so like i said, it's REALLY fishy. I'm not that good mainly due to a really bad connection, i got one of the worst connections in that game and to be good you have to have a good connection. Anyway is it possible to go from really bad to really good in 1 day?

i think its possible 2 suck one day and be good the next. Well for me when i start a new game i suck at it and one day it just clicks with me and i start owning everyone. but then agian they could be useing hacks so who know's.
