Huxley Game, Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Game, MMOFPS

Hats off to the guy who made this video, showing Planetside when its at its best. Beats the promotional efforts of SOE themselves (which isnt really a surprise). Anyone who hasnt played the game or wants to see how it runs on a good spec (most modern PC's are good spec by 2003 standards when the game came out) machine should check this out. Whoever said the graphics are crap is wrong in my opinion. They arent exactly cutting edge but they still are passable as you can see from this video.

It's a gem of game but I imagine it must be difficult for a newbie nowadays with all the BFR and veteran players about. I do recommend you try any free trials that may be going however. I'm resubscribing for a bit soon and should see me through until I upgrade my PC a bit mroe for Huxley! Here's the link to the Planetside clip.

Do you have to buy the game to play it for free or is there a download somewhere? i wanna try it out but don't wanna buy the game because i may not like it.

I've seen planet side and I have never played a game like that.

I've been in moments like in the video and thats one of the reasons why i love the game so much. Although they would be the exception rather than the rule. Also, the population is lower nowadays than at its peak so getting the truly epic moments may be even more far between. I'm still going back to the game though, looking forward to linking up with my NC comrades again
