I am running an AMD Athlon 64bit 4000+ right now, and I am liking it. Though it would be nice to get a dual core sometime in the future...
I haven't ever touched an Intel CPU and don't pln to either.

Running an Amd out here, had some cooling difficulties with it, but with a big fat ass cooler from zalman my problems got solved. You have to watch out for those dual cores though, most programs still dont use both cores, and the first applications to be going to are the OS's (anyone know's if Vista is going to?), so i'd wait with buying something that is more expensive than needed.

The next system that I build will probably be an AMD system. But I am running Intel right now. I can overclock an Intel chip with less cooling involved in an AMD chip.
Only reason I did'nt go AMD with this system is because my buddy had one and he would have to turn it off after about 4 hours of game play. I'm a little more hard core than that. |

AMD (64-bit) > Intel (32-bit)
More information flow with AMD.

Wow. It has to be 100% for AMD.
I'm thinking about getting an alienware laptop. I figured AMD would be the best pick. I guess now I know. Thanks! With so many people trusting AMD I guess I can't fail. Edit: Aww just voted. It's not 100 percent for AMD... :(
