Im curious why do people hate swg so much I keep hearing all these second hand stories but I would like to hear your resons.

basically SWG was pretty dam good it had 32 profs that u could mix and match between so u could be like a bounty hunter and a rifleman and part of a pistoleer and each thing had different special so it was cool also there was creature handler which could just tame stuf and bio engineers which made animals and when u died and cloned ur weapons and armor decayed a little until they completely were dead so u had to buy new stuff and jedi took a long ass time to get and was like u click on something and the guy would keep attacking it....now there is 9 professions including 4 branches of trader that make different crap and no decay so weapons and armor traders got completely nerfed because of the no decay u just buy 1 set of stuff and ur good for a lifetime and they took out creature handlers and bio engineers and all melee classes and now anyone can be a jedi and all elder non jedi get is a buff and jedi elders get a good cloak and i think a crystal and they turned it into a FPS and tons of bugs that they dont even fix for months

....so in short if ur too lazy to read all this SWG was good then they killed it

Hmm, I can see now why people hate the game, wile you typed that little essay of yours. I went ahead and went to the web site judging from the forums there SOE bought the game made modifations that ruined the game, let nature take its course from there, from what I can tell the Jedi is no longer the hardest class to play but still wields all the benefits of the hardest class. The perma death that was made to regulate the number of jedi in the game is now laughable and the rest of the classes are either ruined beyond repair or no longer existent, I hear the pc version is still doing well.

For those that were too lazy to read all of that im laments terms it means it sucks to be them.

yeah u would think they would realized they f'ed up when theyve gotten at least 100 threads that say "f**k SOE""SOE sucks" ya know stuff like that and had probally same amount of petitions and one i saw that had like 2000 people that wanted them to change it back or just change it somehow...but i dont think i can ever play SWG again unless they bring back pre-NGE (wasnt there before CU :cry: )

SWG is a terrible game. the 32 professions was very fun, was very diverse. they still had bugs they hadn't fixed since release which is absurd.

I miss my old creature handler and dueback...i left before they took it all out, i jsut got to tired of the prepitition and the AT-STs were fun to fight even though they were way overpowered.
