Default Blitz 1941/Navy Field

hello, i'm relatively new to the forum, and i'e been anxiously awaiting the coming of huxley as much as anyon else here. (also on the webzen site i noticed an All Points Bulletin game that i wouldn't mind taking a look at, but anyway)

what this topic is about, however, is entirely unrelated to huxley and webzen (tmk) is an mmo tank strategy game by the name of Blitz 1941, as well as a game called navy field, which will be discused after blitz. its currently only offered by Hangame, a derivative of the korean based NHN corp. but there was, once upon a time, a global test version, which was sadly shut down.

as you can guess by the name, it takes place during the second world war, and is focused on AFV combat. there are 2 nations, the allies and the axis, (officially known as German or Russian, but they have access to the rest of the alliances armor)of which you can affiliate your tank commander. vehichles are divided into assualt guns, artillery, and MBT's, with a varied selection in each.

tank commanders, after purchasing their vehichles, and items (which are mounted in slots, that may be used to add armor, fire power, range, rld speed, etc) may then enter a battlefield, and combat other tank commanders for territory, or they may enter arenas, and fight other players. after destroying an enemy, players recieve credits (i forget the term of the currency), experience points, and skill points. experiece go towards building your base level, which allows you access to more vechiles, and better items, while credits allow yu to purchase them. skill points allow you to gain certian abilities, such as temporary/permanent armor bonuses, attack bonuses, ability to call airstrikes, set up minefields, and i believe, for artillery, 'sniper' attacks, (double range for the next shot or something).

its relatively fast paced, the camera being birds eye view, which if i remember, isn't locked to your tank (allowing you to search for/fire at targets outside of your immediate view, check on factories and repair points, lay minefields, etc.) you aim with the mouse, wasd is to move if i remember...

why am i taking the time to tell you all of this you may ask? because i want to play it again :'(. and i want as many people to know about it, so there is a better chance of NHN corps north america division, ijji, to contact hangame and try to get blitz in english. or if someone could.... 'acquire' the needed information to allow use to play on the korean version without getting banzored

(there is a game play video on youtube, YouTube - Blitz 1941 Gameplay )

and now for navy field. a highly addictive mmotgs (tactical strategy game) that is based on ww2 era ships. while game play is not very accurate, its great fun. while not as fast as blitz, theres a much greater sense of power when you hear 12 14" guns go off at the same time.ther are 4 nations in navy field (five if you include neutral) them being the Imperial Japanese Navy, the United States Navy, the Royal Navy, and the Kriegs Marine (japanese, americans, british and germans) Shiups are divided between firgates, destroys, light cruisers, heavy cruisers, battle ships and aircraft carriers.

Navy field is a bit more complex. instead of equiping items, as in blitz to strengthen your comabtive ability, you equip sailors, which are your crewmen. each ship needs a bridge operator, and has other varied slots for gunners, engineers, repairers, pilots and radio operators. Gunners are important, as they are th emost cmmmon way to attack your enemy.

(blast, i didn't have time to finish typing all of this.... i'll edit this later ot include more informatiuon about nayv field....)
