Huxley Forum Roleplay?

Okay, im bored of waiting. I noticed a lot of forums have a place to "roleplay" and I was wondering if anybody wanted to do this on this forum and roleplay like, what we think Huxley will be like? I dunno. But yeah. xP

I think you have to explain a little more detailed than that for us to be able to understand what kind of roleplay you are going for here.

Okay, well I have a few ideas.

1) maybe the sapiens take over the city, and some alternatives have to try to survive in that city, hiding, stealing and just trying to stay alive.

2) we could roleplay the beging of the war, just after people start mutating and fighting over resources.

3) just roleplay little fights between the races, trying to take over cities, resources and bigger guns? ;o

It would be great if this worked like an online D&D forum. I'm sure there is some type of command that can be typed in the message box that can allow a random # to generate within a certain range. Lets say - everyone has 100hp. Enforcer's have 300 armor. Avengers have 150 and phantoms have 75 armor. Now with that said, we can allow actual "fighting" scenes instead of the classic "Cowboys and indians" style gameplay. "Bang I got you", "Nuh-uh" "Uh-huuuuh", so no-one has to cry to mommy.

Damage ratios for weapons. If the roll range was 1-100, 50 and 100 can coun't as critical hits and headshots. If it was 1-20, only 20 would be critical hits (depending on the weapon type).

Pistol:Semi fire, 5 dmg with 19-20 being a crit (x2 dmg)

Shotgun: Spread effect, 3 dmg with 20 crit range (x3 dmg!)- Each attack is 5 rolls

SubMachine: 3 round burst, 7 dmg a round, (No crit range)- Each attack is 3 rolls

HeavyMachine: Spam Effect, 13 dmg a round, 19-20 crit range(x2 dmg)

Rocket Launcher: Explosion, 20dmg, 20 crit, (x3 dmg)- Limited uses

Grenade Launcher: Explosion, 16 dmg, 19-20 crit, x2 dmg- 6 uses


I hate typing so someone help me out. I'm sure if I D&D rule based this a bit more - it would make sense and would be easy to use. But I can't figure out how Armor class and thing could be done unless we use the (Str, Sta, Agi, Int, Wis, Cha) stat base.

That would actually be really cool, and give me something to do for a while lol. I have no idea how any of it would work (I have very little knowledge on how to make websites and how to make crazy synthesized battles over the forums :D but dang if we could do that it would be so much fun.


I never did the D&D thing so I'm not sure how it works. But if we had something like set up zones/battlefields and certain people could say they're going to attack a battlefield or going to shoot somebody, all by just typing it in to some text box, then at a certain time everything kind of got put into play and we all just waited to see what would happen, that would be sweet lol.

or anything like that, like I said I don't really know how it worked with D&D so I'm up for anything

Well, Grind, The first step to RP in a forum type area is to proclaim who you are and your backround. Alot of people do it list type, because it is simple to read and easy to type.
Example:

Name: Grind
Race: Sapien One
Class: ?
Age: ?

Etc etc etc.

I personally, with being a D&D fan, like to state things about my character in a more, "Public" approach.

I am Guyver. I am a Alternative Alternix, Phantom Class. My specialties are stealth and close combat, but do not take me lightly at long ranges.
As most Alternix, I have an extremely pale skin texture and white glazed eyes. And as being phantom, I prefer grouping with other phantoms to complete goals. Nothing says Elite like a stealth squadron.
