Best Games Ever

Whats ur top five favorite games ever for any system or PC. u can use a series like the Halos or the GTAs. and u have to have played it not just heard of it.

my top ten is
1-GoldenEye 007 (1997)
2-Halo series
3-Super Mario 64-Super Mario Bros.
4-Super Smash Melee
5-Grand Theft Auto series
6-Splinter Cell series, even though Double Agent ruined it for me
7-Metal Gear Solid series
8-Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic
9-The Elder Scrolls series, Oblivion obviously the best
10-i'm gunna throw this in there cause i personaly loved this game, Banjo Kazooie-Tooie
My honorable mention-ESPN NFL 2K5
Why the long Madden series wasnt on there was because the games of late flat out sucked and tarnished the image of the series to me.

Golden Eye wouldn't be number 1 for me, but it would be near the top.
Halo is highly over rated.
Both super smashes are ok.
Grand Theft Auto is boring.
Splinter Cell easily better than Golden Eye on a realistic level of what a spy is.
MGS should definetly be higher on your list.
KOTOR was too long.
Elder Scrolls = Most Boring game EVER!
And Sports game are pointless.

My top game? I don't have a list. I've played so many video games in my lifetime that it's pointless to choose. Over $4000 worth of games in my lifetime library. Now you get why I say so.

I never said didn't like any of those games. I've played and beaten everyone that you listed besides #10.

After such a loooooooong time playing videogames, it's just better to critic games than to rate them. Adding a ranking to games is based off personal opinions more than criticism.

Now being a critic is different - instead of being an immature fanboy, you look at the positives AND negatives of the game.

I only wished I was hired as a game critic.

If I had to rate games - it wouldn't be by game, but by genre.

List of my top ten RPG type games ---- like that.

By having a list containing several types of genres can mess up the true purpose. I mean really, can you say that you can compare a football game to an FPS? (In the football game you get to tackle people! Well in an FPS there are guns!) Too many differences.

Anyway --- I hope you get my points...

Through out all my ventures and things in life, nothing beats how great doing things in real life is. Instead of making a SIM make a smoothie ---make one yourself----guess what?! You get to ACTUALLY drink it.
Instead of playing FPS's all the time, try airsoft. It's the most realistic thing close to actually shooting people with guns. (as far as I know) Paintballs good too, but paintballs are expensive.

final fantasy 12 is the second longest game even though its ps2 and oblivion i reckon is the longest game ive played minus WoW

In no real order, these are some of my fav. games.

Paper mario for the N64
Asheron's Call 1
Warcraft Series (including World of warcraft)
Halo2 Multiplayer (Not a big fan of the Campaign)
Diablo 2
and Number #1 game.. Wolfenstein: Enemy territory. It was free and was the best game ever.
