System Requirements
Hello Guys
Im new here so please go easy on me. Im just wondering what do you think the system requirements will be for Huxley? Im really looking forward to this game, maybe it will take me away from 3 years of Counter-Strike :wink: |

Uh. First for the internet connection you will need your own satellite. Second, you will need a power supply large enough to use. I suggest hoover dam. Then your going to need 4 gigs of memory possibly but get 400 to be on the safe side.
Hope this helped. But really I think 4 gigs. Huxley might be around 3 to 4 disk. So 6 gigs might be the max. Geforce 6 series for video card. DirectX 9.0 of course. Windows 2000/XP 1.7 GHz intel or AMD Athlon XP 1500+ or faster. That might be around the recommended stage of things.

Pure speculation. Guyver's guess is as good as anyone else's.....
maybe. :shock: At least PIV+ 512 Mb RAM 4 Gb hard space 128Mb Vid Card

Yeah. Theres not much speculation on the space needed though. So it is a good chance that it's 4 gigs.
Really you think a 128Mb will do...? I don't know---- it doesn't have that feeling it will do well.

Ah kk thanks for the replies.
I will probably get a little upgrade for this game then. I can only run DX8 Really even though my card is a DX9 card. (Geforce FX5500 256mb)

I'm waiting to see whether this game is going to be dependant on CPU power and RAM like Planetside, or more dependant on the graphics card.
To be honest I think a AMD64 3200+, 1GB of decent RAM and a 6800GT would run the game just fine. But of course since theres nothing out there running on the unreal 3 engine yet there is no basis for comparison. we can only guess. |

Ok, to the OP:
Probably at least 4 to 6 gigs of Hard Disk space. 512 ram will probably run it, but I'd suggest having at least 1 gig or 2 gigs. A 1.5,1.7 ghz processor or greater will probably run it but i'd suggest having at least 2.6 or 3.2 Your video card will probably technically run the game, but I would defenitly suggest upgrading, that 5500 ain't gonna get it in todays gaming world. Next to the above poster... If your running an AGP right now chances are you probably don't have PCIe on your MotherBoard. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'd suggest getting one of the Nvidia 6800 series or an ATi x800 xt PE or greater. I'd sugget getting the x850 XT PE AGP if you can find one for a decent price. I did some research on the new ATi Cards (the x1300,x1600, and x1900's) They are only running 128 bit memory encryption. It may have like 512 memory but its only on a 128 bit interface. I think they only have 12 pipes and the clock speeds on them arent all that much better. Now, the pipes might be shorter but who knows...

I only hope the game allows it to be configurated to a big range of quality settings.
So that its memory and CPU usage can be tuned to the system it runs on. I've got a system with 256MB and a Geforce4MX 64mb So you'll understand I'd like to be able to set the game to low-quality. :? |

Most likely it can be changed to a wide variety. Somehwere someone officialy mentioned that the engine is able to run on crap comps. So most likely you can chanbge settings to specific "older" needs.
