Default 28 Weeks Later

Have any of you seen 28 Weeks Later yet? I'm a huge fan of horror movies, and this is one of the best I've ever seen. if you haven't seen the first movie, 28 days later, see that, then go to the theatre immediately and see this one. Awesome movies.

IMO all movies about zombies are more or less the same... For example Resident evil [third part coming for the fall], [any_time_of_day_&_night] of the dead or as you said 28 ... later. I agree that You can watch it with pleasure, of course, but... make an experiment.
Watch Resident Evil -> Dawn of the dead -> Resident evil apocalypse. If only you assume that the town from the second film is a suburb of Racoon City, you will have a fluent storyline, which you can put between opening The Hive and reviving miss Jovovich

/ once more, sorry for my english :P but i guess you get what im trying to say ;]

I have to agree. I love a good zombie movie, and lets face it...there are a LOT of GOOD zombies movies out there. Sadly, I have not seen 28 weeks later although I am looking forward to it!

28 days later was different from any other zombie movie, for me personaly because it was set in my capital a mere 35 mins from where i live which makes it entertaining enough. What works in its favor it it wasnt just a random zombie splatter movie, it had a story and characters you could relate to. It certainly got me thinking if something like that would happen (i know extremely unlikely) what would go on in your home town? who would live? Would you kill the rest of your family if they got infected? where would you get water from? (i know my answers would be mow down the zombies with the biggest truck i can find; me; yes; local cannal system/lake after answer 1) but i proberbly thought of it more so than americans since everything about that movie was set in the environment i live in.

I havent seen the new one yet but i intend to once studies are out of the way.

Cool, you should see it. Better than the first one, different charecters, but still easy to relate to, which makes it even more scary

However dumb it might seem, you're not alone having thought about that. I'm sort of obsessed with zombie movies, and I've done loads of thinking about how to best setup a defence, where to get food, water and supplies, which places (malls and such) would be the best to use as a safe haven, and how to keep zombies out of them. Also, how to like contact and warn your friends and family, and how to acutally make them believe you, I mean, I can imagine that the most common comment to such warning would be "You have been watching too many horror movies you silly". LOL

Although I really did like 28 days later, felt quite awkward after having watched it tbh ^^. I gotta see the new one, although gotta say that I thought that the first film was the first and the last, since i thought that all zombies died (or were dying) in the end.

Well i've seen the movie, for the first of all it's not zombie movie at all it's about the drug that pumps you with adrenaline so much that the only thing you think of is killing. Plus it's the worse movie i've ever seen cause it's so much talking in it and so few of action, they run, then they run away, then they run again. Boring as hell. Braindead is much better movie ^^

On the contrary, I really liked the movie except for the shaking camera from times to times (honestly, the effect was way too exaggerated).

What I found interesting was the psychological evolution of the children(and the others, of course) throughout the whole movie. How they fight, not only to survive against the "zombies", but also against their own.

My two cents.

It was more of a drama for me them horror.
Land of the Dead was funny and cool, this was very boring like a drama.
