I played SWG till the NGE.......that made a once good game very very bad

SOE is a very unfriendly company to gamers, though I still play planetside I hate SOE, I don't mind Sony in general just their SOE devision is awful from my experiances.

I played SWG for a few months. I jumped in after the CU, though. I heard a lot of people gripe about that, but I really enjoyed it. I got out before the NGE though. When you think of how the game used to be (pre NGE) and listen to how it is now, you just know it's gotta suck.

I was on Shadowfire server. MBH and MCarbineer.

Yea its becuase in SWG to become force sensative it could take up to a year and a half to become one.... Recently since they changed it you get to start out being a force sensitive that and many other games fked it up....

yea i had just gotten force sensitive like a month and a half before nge and was starting the village

I have played it until NGE and one thing I really liked about SWG is that you can do alot of stuff. the basic ground stuff, Space travel/combat, get a house and place furniture in it, pvp with bases (not that that was fixed), alot of room voor RP, very good crafting system, make a shop out of your house..

but with NGE its diffrent, core elements like decey have been removed killing crafting. from around 30 they went to 9 professions and a diffrent combat system were its more like a FPS but still 3rd person..

Xenia is right next to theed On naboo. Xenia is still there.

I played SWG from the day it started to a few months after the Jedi came into the game. Xenia was the first city On sunrunner and Xen was the first Guild.

I really enjoyed the game till the jedi and holocron fiasco. I saw the end coming then and I moved on.

i had completely uninstalled SWG and now im downloading a 10-day free trial of it and im gonna get on and give my stuff to my friends lol

I played since beta... Draeke on Wanderhome.

I was addicted to that game... CU started to kill it, and I canceled before NGE ever went through.

I tried the trial of NGE a few weeks ago, and almost punched my monitor in I was so disgusted. What a P.O.S!! They ruined a great game. The Pre-CU servers might get my attention until Huxley comes out. I'm burnt out for WoW as well.

I started playing swg a few weeks before mounts and quit when NGE hit. SWG surly was a great game with many good memories from it, but Im never going back to an MMO with a fixed combat system where stats and stuff is all that matters. And I dont like magic medivel games so Huxley is the only way to go for me hehe :D

I used to be Hunt Roivas the CreatureHandler on the Naritus server

gotta paste the link to avoid that, i think its a mock-up.

this will be a full new game, on privately run servers. sony has no part in it (thank god)

most will be based on the last publish pre-cu. i would prefer publish #1 (way back at SWG launch :P ) but that wont happen. a few may also run CU servers.

the private developers can also tweak the game in other ways, like not allow millions of jedi, limit the # of player cities, remove ADK's, ect ect.
