i got one question (noob question) what is planetside i never heard of it and is it what it used to be or is it a waste of $20.00 and whats its subscription fee

Planetside, I guess, is the original MMOFPS, where you join 1 of 3 factions and fight over a planet called Auraxis.

You can join the reserves program and play for 1 year for free. Here, try it out.

It won't cost you anything. Just download the Zip file, and then make an account, and start playing. I really don't know exactly what to do,though, cause I haven't played since 2004.

so i just made a account then i dowals this "zip file" and then i shortcut will pop up and i then play for free for a year? wait is it called direct2drive

Oh yeah, it ended in march. That's right. Hmmm, oh well. Well, don't get a subscription unless you've played and you like it because lately people have been leaving Planetside and it's becoming a ghost MMO.
