Good size. Good color scheme across. Noticable handywork on the cutouts.

Kinda bland concept, slightly uncrisp and hard on the eyes font effects.

I give it 8 on technical, 6 on design.

the type is just a little blurry. nice design though. I give it a 7 overall

actually the only part I did a cutout of was the top of his barrel, I left the rest of the body as is. Which is why the background was black, though I kinda wish I did cut out his entire body and changed the background. The leftside of his body with the reflecting armor was going to be a pain to do though.

Yeah I definately woulda picked a color other than flat black if I did the cutout and added some more effects to the background. Oh well :P

Oh also, what about the font was uncrisp and blurry, I kept looking at it and couldn't figure it out. I don't think you meant the outerglow effect... cause that was done to synchronize the text effect with the body armor effect. Did that not work as I intended?

yea i dont think itthe glow worked to well. try focasing that glow a little more cause it just makes the text look blurry.

Your prb here is that outerglow in bright yellow cuts with the white font on black background making it seem unfocused to the eye. Do a 1 pxl black stroke from the layer properties on the font and theyll mark out nicely.
