Gobbly Sigs

GOBBLY, alot of people have sigs and alot of people like faugs have been working on them yet we still cannot use them how bout you set sumthn up were you MUST approve them for use or just let everyone use em and keep it stricly huxley or they get sig privlages takin away wut u say?

I would say limit the size of the sigs should be sufficient.

If you have a problem with content just make it part of forum rules if you use sigs that are p.ornographic or inappropriate (by your forum terms and agrements) all posts by that user will be deleted. AND!... if you have to question the appropriatness of the sig DONT USE IT!!

You will need to limit the size or say goodbye to the bandwidth

Maybe a gallery or hall of fame for the sig's and or best of the month displayed on the front page.

Sigs just clutter up pages, they are used for only 2 reasons mainly, to spam and to showoff your graphic skills which is why we have this section in the forums :D

I would to enable sigs but too many people sadly break the rules about them and use oversized or spamming in sigs and I would rather the modorators and myself have more time to spend on running the community ad working on new things.

Hope you understand why the decision was made.

I still think the link to "User CP: Home Page" thing works just fine.

Only downside is you gotta get a photobucket or imageshack account, but they're free (as far as I know).

cant u put a size restriction on em gobbly? like built in when u enter the site it is from and how big width length it is allowed

If he and the moderators would have to approve EVERY signature banner then how many extra hours of work do you think they will have to spend? Yeah, that's right, too many. We don't need signatures, just as most famous boards, they don't allow signatures (atleast images) because there's always some mofu who make an animation with a *Censored Word**Censored Word**Censored Word**Censored Word* pictures in it. And TBH I really don't want that, it will give this forum a really nasty reputation. I say, NO.

Although having a signature as in a simple text consisting 100 words would be decent to have.
