Lol i get your point. Shaking the old magic 8 ball though, all signs point to 2007. It wont be this calender year from what i've read.

I would expect Beta to be around the end of 06/start of 07. Beta could be short or more likely it could drag on for a good while, we wont know that for some time, speculating on a release date before they officially announce the start of beta is a fools errand.

Yes.

Xbox 360 users are paying the fee to play all the xbox games online, but MMOs are not the same story.

It would be completely unfair to PC users to not charge xbox 360 users anything for Huxley.

Indeed this is what i think what ur paying for the Gold thing for 360 is like paying for the internet already. And Playing an MMO's bill just adds on to the internet bill so ur probaly gonna be charged for the game too its only fair

No u see i pay an internet bill alone ok. Then i want to play an MMO which is lets just say 15$ per month. That 15$ per month gets added to my internet bill automatically.

Yep.

But Huxley will not be ran through Xbox live. So here's the deal: You can cancel your Xbox Live Gold membership and STILL play Huxley. So no one is making you pay the $50 a year.

Get what I'm saying? I might be getting it for 360 instead of PC, so I may be in the same situation.

No I think you have to pay for gold. Gold is what lets you play games online with other people. Silver is just lets you have friends and download stuff from the marketplace.

Why do people buy single player games? To play them. Huxley is an MMOFPS, but it's still an FPS with the latest unreal engine with missions and NPCs both enemies and friendlies included. Granted you wouldn't have PvP but there would be enough for offline. But you're right, nobody ever wants to buy a game that doesn't go online. . .
