well this isnt information off your bogstanderd forum it is off http://www.play.com/Games/Xbox360/4-...searchsource=0
where i have pre-ordered the game not that im trying to be harsh in the way i have said this. Also webzen havnt really given us any major updates on the games progress for ages now. and i think (not sure.. that the betas are for the pc version only which is being released later than the 360 version so feel privalidged but if im wrong and this is just an anticipated release date play has given us i am sorry)

"Due for release on 31/08/2007" Play.com

I believe this is an anticipated launch schedule. This seems a little close considering the amount of PR for the game. So logically I'm going to assume that very well may be wrong.
  • "Pre-Release Ships 09/01/07" Gamestop.com (Huxley Xbox 360)
  • "Pre-Release Ships 01/01/09" Gamestop.com (Huxley Xbox PC)
  • "Release Date:TBA 2007" Gamespy.com (Huxley Xbox 360)
  • "Release Date:TBA 2009" Gamespy.com (Huxley Xbox PC)
  • "Release Date:10/01/2007" 1up.com (Huxley Xbox 360)
  • "Release Date:TBA" 1up.com (Huxley Xbox PC)
Too many different release dates out there to consider any of them legitimate. Best bet is to wait until Webzen comes out and announces it.

Not too sure on that Phantasy star universe charges the 10$ a month and people play that in quite the numbers I know because I still play.

This will be A Game the likes of which the 360 hasnt seen before an MMO that isnt more than 4 years old this is fresh new and LARGE faster and much cooler than the only other console based MMO FFXI.

And if this game delivers the goods everyone heres hoping for a 10 - 15$ fee will be nothing and well worth what the game is capable of doing namely occupying your time and entertaining you.

So fee's for the 360 not a problem BUT the game has to be good enough for people to MERIT that expense lets hope it does lord knows I think it will easily.

With the 360, i see no justification in having to pay fees to play a game online. We pay $50 a year as it is. I'm not a fan of subscriptions in general, especially after paying $40 (PC) and $60 (PS3/360) for these games...

so your saying that to buy the game and pay for xbox live should be enough....so who pays for the server, who pays for the game ops, who pays for the expanding in game world....get real man, if you want a game thats set in an arena and everyones basically the same lvl as in say practically most 1st person onliners, then i agree.....but mmorpgs are different in that they evolve and that dont come free...if the game is good and pitched at 10 to 15 bucks a month then it will be well worth it.

It is completley fair. Us 360 users pay internet and Xbox Live Fee's You PC gamers pay internet and game fee. So actually yea its fair as can be. People already have computers, we 360 holders have to pay $500 for the consule, $60 for the controler and game, and $20 for the microphone. Thats not counting a good tv and sound system. It's all fair, plus to counter the post above me royalties are given to Huxley out of the Xbox Live payments. So Huxley don't you dare take any more of my money! (because I would probably pay it with a frown)

What's the difference between the Gold subscription and the Silver subscription?

Isn't the Silver subscription free?

Yeah, like say you went out and bought Rainbow Six Vegas, or gears of war or any game with online multi-player, and that was the reason you wanted it, in order to play the online multi-player you'd have to purchase a gold membership in some form if you don't have one already, you can either pay monthly, I think a few months at once like 3 or so, or for the year which is really the best buy, fifty bucks. I really hope that Huxley isn't monthly, but I do have a good feeling it will be, MMO's usually are.

An alternative could be that Webzen offers their own online service which could be accessible from a standard Silver subscription to XBox Live. Although, if this is the case, XBox 360 players would end up paying the same fees as PC players. Problem comes where you would have to subscribe to both the Gold subscription of XBox Live and Webzen's online service.

I swear to god, if they try to make us pay an extra payment with the xbox live payment and internet I will, well have me and my gaming buddies petition the Huxley games. lol In other words me, and all you other 360 players who want to keep some cash in your pocket won't be happy one bit. Huxley this will hurt your 360 income........no hard feelings though, yet.
