Seriously guys, if you had to pay for Gold when playing FFXI, then you were done. I had silver when I was playing FFXI and at nopoint did I HAVE to register gold

The bit that i was commenting on there was that he said his friend plays Halo 2 without a gold membership which you can't do.

Well, you also said that you need gold membership to play 360 MMO's

And I really can't see how that guy can play online with silver. There is a reaosn for the gold and silver.
Gold: Play online with friends
Silver: Talk online with friends. Also have access to Marketplace.

Unless your friend just got the months free gold thing when you register a silver account, or else you're just lying

XD my bad i forgot that there is a free year of gold when you get 360, my friend must have thought that since he didnt buy subscription to gold that he dosent have it. ingore that comment =)

mmo's dont use xbox live gold, only silver, this is cuz they get there own launch platform. for example ffxi has playonline viewer and only uses silver

Figure out the release of the PC version, and add 6 months =)

i got xbox 360 and xbox live gold . its only £36 for a year and that covers every bit of online play from any game genre apart from mmorpg's because there run on different servers that are worh paying an extra $9.50 for as they need to be really fast. They cudnt run these servers for free. But i am well p*ssed off about the pc coming out before xbox 360 ? whats the point in that .

my only complaint about paying a fee (if there even is one) is that they are already being paid by over 60 different corporations/companies for the ads huxley will have... so, its kinda like paying for air tv... with all the commercials and stuff.

i agree there should not be a fee for huxley on the xbox because you have to pay to get the game then you have to pay for the gold membership and then you have to pay for the mebership for huxly it's too much lol

2nd month=$80... taking off 10 to 15 would be nice...

meh, the fee is almost nothing, but still, its the fact that they have ads in the game and might charge a fee.... its just wrong... if theres ads from over 60 companies, definatly no fee should exist.
