Huxley Game, Massively Multiplayer Online First Person Shooter Game, MMOFPS

I think I've mentioned it earlier in this thread but...
While a Public Huxley Beta for 360 is possible, I don't see it being plausible. Because not only will they have the PC beta to find stuff like bugs that might be in both versions but they'll also have 6 months of tests on the PC servers, which are probably going to be larger, busier, and more strained than the 360s by far, to use. A small, closed beta for the 360 version will probably tell them all they need to know by that point and they'll probably consider a public 360 one a waste of time and resources with all the information they would have gotten from the PC.

The best I can see happening is that we get a demo for the single player part of Huxley on the 360 before it's released; if we get anything at all that is.

it wasn't a beta, it was an alpha version of the game, two very different things, i know i said beta, but that wasn't the case.

Beta = we might get it
Alpha = not a chance in the world

I stopped reading when you said Huxley didn't have a single player mode because they've confirmed that the 360 version, which we're discussing, will in fact have a single player campaign mode.

While i don't know how the Dev.-MS relationship works when it comes to hosting files...this game has lost quite a bit of interest between its unveiling and now. A beta on the 360 would be a great way to hype the game, just look at COD4, everyone is trying to get in on the beta and have been trying for the past 3 weeks.

When it does finally come out, how is it gonna be run?

It's an MMO so there's gonna be a lot of content.

Will you buy a disk so they know you bought it then download the rest of the content?

ANd hopefully maybe not need a disk to run it after that

i dont know.
i would rather have the disk for the 360 version.
i only have the 20gig hard drive and dont want to use all the space for a game that could have a disk.
i just want my hard drive for arcade games that dont have disks ro videos or demos.
thats just my opinion.

I gotta agree with you there. 20GB's not a big harddrive, and I prefer being able to download content for other games as well as demos and stuff.
