One of the reasons you WANT people to play is to keep the servers getting full up of kiddys who are just messing about, personally i play EVE online and pay about £100 a year for the pleasure - with free updates and good servers its well worth it

With the problems some games are having at the moment with full servers and lag im hoping that the ppm style will make huxly WELL worth playing :D

There well mostly be a fee for Huxley but whos how much untill it comes out. I dont think they going to cancel the 360 version if anything it would be pushed back about 1-2 months give or take. Making an game more affordable and atteinable to more gamers is in the company's best intrest.

well for one you should not need a gold membership to play games that you have to pay to play online but anyway anyone who is serious about playing games online will have one anyway and just for the demos its kinda worth it. as for the charge to play huxley and other games for that matter i offtern find that you get a small percent of people on big online games that are responsiball for most of the charges people who fall into a few diffrent types.

theres the people that always seam to be playing hence never seam to be at work or anything there just playing the bloody game 24/7 why should i pay £12 a month and only play a few hours a day maybe more on my days off etc when there online all the time ? i should pay less or they should pay more.

then you get people that are a sad amount of levels higher then everyone elss and there normaly the people that spend an unreal time playing the game and i mean most of the time them people arent even better at playing the game they just dont have anything to do. anyway these people are always hitting the max lvl and hence the game needs to be updated for them to get new crap etc i mean yea one day most people will get there but i think waiting for more people to get there who have less time to play would reduce cost`s and make it more even.

and last but not least are the assholes who always try to find a way to cheat ie useing a slow router or some other stupid shit like that come on its not worth it i mean its not like its ww2 and your really ganna die so you have to win and stay alive anyway you can its a game you should want to win cos you were better then the other person or just got lucky anyway cos of these people the survers get a crap load of phone calls and emails etc and have to spend time and money fixing bugs and other little things that any set of decent gamers would have never found or exploited in the first place.

so yea blame some of the money your paying on sad people and dicks who cheat. im not saying its wrong to play video games all weekend etc but some people for what ever reason dont have jobs etc to go to all im saying about these people is from time to time can they spend 4 hours or so away from there game not when there sleeping or eating (id say fucking but i dont think they have time to meet anyone to do that with and they probably jerk off while playing what ever game there obssesd with) and you know maybe go for a walk and see a little thing called the sun etc.

i play ffxi everday it has a 13$ a month fee + 1$ more a month for each extra character. an as i said in the other xbox fee forum...

1. - every mmo without a monthly fee sux ballz. Dont beleive me? go play the 1 million free2play mmo's on the web that r all the same stupidness. So be glad this game will make u pay something.

2. - i thought someone translated a article from a korean site saying huxley will prolly be microtransaction. Meaning u pay for the game, an u pay for cool gear.

I was really excited when I heard Huxley was coming to the 360. However I am not going buy Huxley if they announce a subscription fee. I pay $50 a year for a gold account so I can play every game with online multiplayer on Xbox live. I don’t pay so I can play some of them. I realize that a mmo game takes maintenance, but the majority of live enabled games manage to release patches and some of them have their own dedicated servers all for no additional charge. I hate to say this but I would rather see microtransactions .

You MOST LIKLEY won't have to pay for XboxLIVE to play this game online. You just need an ethernet cable, and a silver xboxlive subscription (That's the free one). You probably just go to the main menu once your all connected and stuff, and click whatever it is that lets you connect. I played this other MMO (you can download the demo in the marketplace, it's pretty good) called Phantasy Star Univerese, and you didn't need a gold subscription to play. You just have to pay the monthley fee and you can get on their server. Come to think of it, you don't even have to pay for xboxlive to play halo 3 online. You just can't play with player created content in Halo 3 with a silver subscription. If you really want to, you could cancel your xboxlive (you will still have a silver subscription) and use the money to pay the fee to play this.

btw. Microtransactions would suck

and if so it should be like 1000 a year because $50+ for the game then y should we have to pay for it?
dozens of games use servers and they are free like battlefield, warrock and others

or u can simply make it F2P but include an item shop so we can buy in game items for money a game called space cowboy online made very good use of this, the game closed because a korean company bought them out, but it still has the same system about $50 real money could be translated to about 45mil in game money.

and to whoever thinks that would make the graphics worse or w/e? most free games are better than p2p games

I could understand them charging another 5$ a month, which i believe would be managable. 10$ a month is still quite a bit, but its not insane like the people paying 20$ a month for world of warcraft type games. I would much rather have to pay to play an awesome game the play a grabage one for free.
