Anyone else notice this? in the e3 movies all I really saw was 2 guys jumping with rocket launchers shooting at the feet.. boy I wanna pay $ for that when I can just do it in the quake 4 demo..

And this is known throughout alot of Fps's

I want your thoughts and opinions on what you think about the rocket spam and if you plan to actually use a gun that takes skill other then jumping and leading shots to the ground / body

I pray shitty players dont resort to doing this constantly otherwise might as well just do the same and have an awesome rocket spam fight.

It will probably happen. Thing is, there's always a way to kick a rocketeer's ass. Just because it's easy to toss around rockets doesn't mean that in this game because you can, it's the best. The way the armor system works in this I think that a rifle may do much better close range than rockets will.

There'll be spam but it's not going to be the end all that it was in quake.

I will, dont like it deal with it.

They will most likley make the rockets either hard to get or really crappy.

oh yeah, because there arent enough realism shooters. The short of it is no matter what the play style youd probably find a game that does the same for free. The difference being a persistant world with a leveling system.

Rockets are prediction-based weapons. They are fine.

If you don't like it, go back to America's Army.

Take 10 steps back and use a machine gun type weapon.

There's no way to guess how gameplay will evolve because it depends on weapon balancing, which will probably change even after retail... so we'll have to just wait and see.
