you guys think there be a secondary weapon like a pistol or another rifle or maybe a knife :twisted:

i would assume you will be able to cycle weapons. i would also guess that the skill advancement system would allow you to specialize in a certain weapon class (lets say heavy weapons for an alteraver) he would be better with the rocket launcher (perhaps faster reload? who knows) but he can cycle to a pistol if he either runs out of ammo or is fighting in a close space.

again all speculation, but since there is almost definitely ammo involved, you would need an alternative if you ran out on your primary weapon. you'd be at a disadvantage as your skills were setup to maximize your potential with your primary, but at least you still have some dmg output.

yea cus i was thinkin since im plannin on being a sniper id definately need at least a pistol for close range

of course its second nature lol to add a secondary gun in FPS.....in case your shredding ammo like crazy you can always pull out your hand dandy phaser(pistol that shoot's rays killing instantly the person he he) escpecially since your sniper while the gun may be less damage its still better that trying to snipe at close range.

Without a doubt there will be secondary weapons in the game. I'm hoping they will limit the amount of weapons players can carry to 3. Two primary weapons, one secondary, grenades, and melee weapon (plus other gadgets).

Im hoping for a Heavy Weapon, Smal Arms, and Light melee/Grenades. Much like Ghost Recon. I'd also like to see the need to cary secondary weapons, and make them important (not like Planetside). For example, while heavy weapons can hold lots of ammo, and do loads of damage, they should also have a looooooong reload time. Thus, making the secondary weapon needed to swap out and finish off your opponent. Small arms should also be somewhat weak, but deadly accurate (and sources say that there will be point specific damage and hitboxes)

there for sure will be a "secondary" type weapon and adding on to that, prolly some type of equipment like a gernade or some misc. item

I cannot tell how many times I have had to bust out my usp or deagle after running out of ammo playing cs. Pistols are a life saver and I would be VERY surprised if they weren't implemented in Huxley.

I doubt the fact that they won't be implemented, I'm just hoping that they will be utilized as a serious fallback weapon, and a needed accessory in the field.

I personally would like to see a weapon cycle system like that found in CoD2. Basically you get two guns ( I always went with the rifle and submachine gun combo).

It wouldnt make sense not to have a secondary weapons, when certain people( im guilty of this too) Start Shelling an area with bullets and are out of ammo a few seconds later... we will just have to see what they have in store for Secondary stuff.
