well i was just reading up on all of the weapons and what not, but i didnt see anything about grenades...so my question is, "are there going to be any grenades in Huxley?"

lmao thats a real good question lol never thought of it but probly will cause most mmos gata have some type of throwable exsplosive

I definitely see grenades as a must. When I'm sniping and someone gets too close a grenade is a good way to make them back off or move them into your line of fire. In nearly every game I play I am the 'nade whore. I always use grenades in CoD 2 cause my friend likes to be cheap with the Trench gun. Usually with grenades I can make him choose a different path so I have my rifle on where he's going to be.

Had that idea advanced on other forums... Would be awesome if granades were part of crafting and not just any crafting at all but special crafting that only special classes allows. Since enforcers are mostly close range or with heavy weapons they would require smoke to cover them from both phantoms and avengers so they could get "Special Crafting" of granades and some other things too. Granades could be like smoke granades, the higher lvl crafting you have the better granades you can develop. Most of granades are to be from reality but still it would be cool, like flash granades smoke granades, even granades that explode quickly not causing any damage to people nearby and quickly releases black smoke which is effective for last seconds then white smoke but since it goes off fast and immidietly fills the area you need, you should need it for more the 5 secs to cross it. Trehe could also be like teargas granades that make you see worse while you crossed the smoke and 2-5 secs afterwards you went out of the teargas area. Shock granades that stun you for a bit or make the movement difficult for some special amount of time would be nice too. Fire granades similar to AA SF granade that release fire and burn for some time.

just to make it simple you would have to get a license to equip grenades and higher lvl you are the more affective the grenade is

Well that's not what i've meant. Granades will be a part of crafting that could be only used by one class and no acctual lisence needed. Other also can use them or sell their own special crafting items.
So what determines how good they are, is the lvl of crafting and not your characters lvl, but of course the better they are the higher lvl you need to use them.

Crafting grenades seems like a great idea, and the the idea of "class crafting specialization" will add a great element to the game.

i hope u can make yur character into a store like in last chaos and flyff and mu online so u can sell the gernades u crafted

I read somewhere and also saw in one movie that grenade launcher its one of Huxley weapons type. I dont know about simple grenades but its a hard guess that it wont happen.

Interesting idea, I can definitely see this being implemented into the game.

But on the other hand, we're playing a game that moves at the pace of UT; grenades, from my experience, are going to be fairly useless when players are moving that fast. There is a grenade launcher though.(Judging from the trailers.)

Yeah, was just talking about that with my brother. All of the weapons, ammo and items you no longer need could be sold via personal shop at discounted prices.

A question for those who are most familiar with recent Huxley news. Is anyone aware if you will have to repair both weapons and armor in this game? I was thinking about it and it would be pretty cool if over time your armor defense reduces and your weapon becomes less accurate.

yes a shooter cannot have grenade maybe propelled from a launcher to keep up with players and maybe like bubble shield grenade like halo 3 will be awsome or a grenade which lets of an electric shock to destroy shields and radar for a limited time.
