Huxley Weapons List - HUD

As much as Guyver and InsaneRussian have been doing lately, which I'm sure we are all very pleased and very grateful for, and in the same line of updates Guyver has been providing us, I thought it would be nice if we could refresh our views toward Huxley's weaponry.

Thanks to InsaneRussian's post, we recently got our hand on some new information about Huxley, but moreover some new ingame screenshots.

As you can see, each weapons features a different crosshair which feels very UTish to me.

Also, if we take a look at the HUD, you'll notice that there's only Health and Armor. Which raises the following questions: is your equipment affected by damage (head, body, legs, etc.) or does equipment have stats such as durability?

From the current HUD shown above, I'll answer no to both questions. Why? Well, from my point of view, the HUD would show the complete body structure with the items 'destroyed' (if equipment had durability or took too much damage) if it was the case. Instead, it only shows the armor (Perhaps your total defense rating? That, unless they are armor pickups1) and health.

1 Concerning pickups, InsaneRussian posted a screenshot here showing some sort of ammo pickup.

Well you wanted it HUD, but i found some weapons you haven't mentioned which aren't HUD so i show them anyways, and i also show some that you showed but from another point of view, hope you don't mind =)
First off is something im not sure what it is but itt shoots like assault rifle only with blue bullets like lightning:

Pretty shacky too, i mean when you shoot. Maybe some machine gun with electrical shots?

The yellow weapon to the left remind me of "Flak Cannon" from UT04, might be another granade launcher or Rocket Launcher i dunno. The weapon to the right that 2 players have is well seen weapons that you see on many screenshots, at least i have. Those are simple Assault Rifles.

Now here is an intresting weapon, first is shotgun in action which aint really intresting and very intresting Green laser rifle that the female have in her hands, nothing for men i guess >.>

On this screenshots you can see 2 weapons that Corbs havent mentioned, one is huge Machine gun and Other seems to me like Flak Cannon? Anyhow cool looks and all.

Well i was so concerned about searching a weapons you forgot that i didn't read what you mentioned about Ammo and Durability, lol. Now i was too late for editing my post so i say this: I didn't only spoke of ammo and provided proff to that. In this topic: Diging For More Of The Unknown third post from above wroten by me i discuss the armor function for a short while:

Notice how when he gets shot the armor goes down and after some time when he is not being shot the armor starts to recharge, amazing. Never seen a video anywhere near this one.

PS: You might experience difficulties viewing this video, Guyver did (Slow internet connection).

So i strongly doubt that there will be any armor repairs in cities cause armor repairs itself, at least in that video :P

Unfortunately, I can't seem to be able to view any videos at that particular website...

Edit: Finally works, since I recently formatted my hard drive, I was missing some plugins.

It seems the player uses some sort of item(potion?) or skill to heal his armor (I thought I heard a sound each time his armor went up).
I also saw the laser gun you were talking about. Reminds me of the shock rifle.

By the way, am I the only one who thought the rocket launcher, or well that very specific one (because I guess there will be many) shot pretty damn fast and seemed quite deadly? I sure hope they don't make them too overpowered or else it's Quake all over again (not that I'm complaining, I loved Quake).

Well i believe that only one is missing which will be probably easy to find, cayse second that is "missing" i believe is Machine Guns which you can see here:

It reminds me a lot of the one from UT04, plus SMG and Assault rifles are totaly different thing, so for me Machine guns are another category. Plus the second weapon to the right on that screenshot is a rocket launcher. In this video:

After the guy says "Fire!" they show first group of n00bs all with SMGs and they get wiped out, second group comes all with SMGs except one who has the weapon on that screenshots and its effect is a flying rocker = rocket launcher.

P.S: What do you mean by melee weapons? Like knife or something?

Im not 100% sure its from Huxley...but still i found it in google image search....I tiped Huxley gun....and it came up....But if there'll be no info abaut stationary weapons we can still hope to see them in game.

Anyhow yeah i believe this stationary weapon will serve against infantry, light vehicles and aircraft =) Looks awesome too, hope they will have more stationary weapons like that just with different functions :P

Well the image is IGN related. And it is in their picture gallery for the game. Nice find!

Looks like assault rifle, saw it in the video where Alterrnatives fight Hybrids on th large fields, they got mnay such guns, on forums look in the top right corner =) Maybe it' not the same but does loook very much alike. Thay said there will over somethig like 900 different weapons so lots can look alike =)

It's not the same. From the looks of it, it is similar to the M249 SAW Machine gun. So I can only assume that it is a heavy machine gun. Probably a step below the mini-gun on the license trail.

The gun's front part is what's confusing me. It's so huge.

I'd say we are only missing one. I excluded Assault Rifles and included Machine Guns instead since we have no reason to include Assault Rifles. As for stationary weapons, I think it falls in the vehicle category.

Are we still missing two? Do you guys think there will be melee weapons? I doubt it, since, in my opinion, levels are too wide.

Well for me SMGs, Machine Guns and Assault Rifles are 3 different category.
SMGs are weak but shoot fast, something like machine gun with pistol bullets.
Assault Rifles are weapons that deal good damage but aint very easy to aim with and dont have many bullets in the clip.
Machine Gun is bigger version of SMG with bigger bullets.

For me those are different categories, if it will be like that which i have no doubts that it will. Then we are missing only one, which could be a knife or something like that. You say the maps will be to huge for knifes? Well maps size depends on the amount of players so that they wont be too big which means it would be something like
