lol,yeah but when ever you attack/move to fast,you stealth wears off a little,until you become still again. so if you say get all up in my grill and I see you stab me,I can see the outlines of you,and therefor shoot you lol. or I can get an implant like in the game play demo's and see cloakers. (darkligh implant?)

if its using a 'ut' format for weapons, then theres the basics
1 pistol. avaliable in pretty much every fps, mainly used as a last resort lacks much for range, and power, but makes it up with ease of use and light weight. eveyrone knows what a pistol is 2 grenade launchers. not as common as some other weapons, but still a die hard part of most fps', giving players indirect attack abilities. mid-long rnaged, moderate-high aoe power (variable, due to different rounds). everyones heard of the m-79, the vietnam era 40mm breach loaded single shot grenade laucher 3 rifle, self/auto loading. made famous by the m1 garand, usually only featured in ww2 themed fps' (replaced by automatic rifles) good range, good damage, but a hit harder to control the recoil when rapidly firing. also, the g-42, a german 10 round semi automatic rifle 4 assualt rifle. commonly refered to as a 'machine gun', but is a hybrid of machine guns and rifles, taking range and moderate accuracy of rifles, and mixing it with rate of fire and power of machienguns. instant success (mp-44/stg-44 was the first true assualt rifle) 5 machine gun. my personnal favorite. usually fielding large calibur rounds, at high rates of fire, out to decent ranges. generally heavy, and inaccurate per shot, but uses an 'accuracy by volume' theory. most are familiar iwht rambo's m60. 6 High powered rifle, generally 'sniper'. slow to fire, but strong, accurate and far reaching. peaks efficient (per shot damage, etc), but difficult to master. vassilli zaitsev, etc. a true marksmans choice 7 rocket/missle launcher. there is a difference. often given i 2 doses, spray, dumb fire rockets, and single wtfpwned missles generally anti armor, with long range, good damage and accuracy (unless the targets moving). Who doesn't like blowing *Censored Word**Censored Word**Censored Word**Censored Word* up? 8 chainguns. every little boys dream. make sense that bullet caliburs would be smaller then a machine guns, to compensate for recoil (if your going to be runnign aournd with them, they are less stable then if they were mounted) extremely high rates of fire, at moderate ranges, with so-so accuracy. have you watched predator(i bleieve it was)? enough said. 9 last, but certianly not least, the die hard shotgun. horror films favor this weapon, and so do most gamers, with often a one in your face shot kill, the ultimate close range weapon. close rnage, high damage, generally inaccurate, (spray) i realize the auto loading rifles are a bit of a varient of a sniper, or a assualt rifle, but its stil an unfilled niche in most games and hearing talk of this game being mmo, there will likely be a wide selection of weapons under these catogries, each diverse and unique in there own way. I would like to see certian companies that favor a certain stat of the weapon more then others (and therefore 'speializing' in that branch of weaponry, as listed above), and make wepaons avliable at all levels, giving each player a choice in what they would prefer. some player slike hitting hard, others like spraying, and yet others like having a bit of extra accuracy. (example, for those that still don't grasp the concept. say a weapons company, named Nico, were more daft at creating powerful, rapid firing rifles, at the cost of accuracy. the weapons produced will have bonuses/reductions in that area. also9, its seems they would favor heavy machineguns, and therfore 'lead the amnrket' in that area) Of course, those are just the weapons. in huxley there will also be abilities, and support-based tools? such as grenades, mines, medical kits, etc but i'm not well verse din teh world of huxley yet, so i'll spare a lengthy post. in terms of armor, theres the basic heavy/light/medium already given to the classes. thers the mobility/defense aspects that are already taken care of, the only things i can see to say about armor is that as yur level goes up, the armor gets more absorbant, has more sockets/slots, etc. though perhaps there may be certain brands of armor more resistant to certain kidns fo damage, as previusly mentioned somehwere... ballistic, impact, heat, chemical, energy, etc. (impact would be more environmental dmage, such as falling, being hit by falling debris, heat leaning more towards incendiary grnades/mines, flame throwers, burning buildings, etc. denergy is well, lazerz, which would be any of the weapon catgories, chemical... that might be a bit hard.. [acid launchers!])

Nico is hte name of a company that mainly featured in producing high powered weapons, form a game called Gunz: The Duel.
Mines, i've experienced are less common in games, and when they are avaliable, less commonly used, due to the pain of not knowing if you wasted them waiting for an enemy to come by... an possible friendly fire.

Yeah Gunz: The Duel is a sweet game!
I wouldn't mind seeing mines in the game. From all of the gameplay videos I don't think I've seen FF being a problem but I don't think there is confirmed info saying that FF is for sure going to be on or off. There's always a way to make mines safe for teammates though so I'm sure it could be done. I'm sure snipers would love to set up a couple mines around them for when someone tries to sneak up on them

I'm sure mines will be in it,mines might be able to damage your teamates but maybe they see it glowing but the other side dosen't...your teamates only get hurt if they are stupid enough to walks straight over one..

I just want a basic assualt rifle type weapon that I could maybe eventually be able to upgrade an add a nice scope on it, of course not as good as maybe a sniper but something more significant than the basics. I saw in some of the vids too of gameplay that it seemed you can have two other weapons I gues maybe two secondary ones, that's pretty sweet I would probably like to carry a shotgun too ^_^ Gosh still a whiles away can't wait! Gonna be playing a bunch of H3 and COD4 to hold me off haha
