Does anyone know if Huxley will have armor percing, anti air and anti infantry rounds? I think they should, otherwise, everyone would be running around with rocket launchers....and it would become a rocket fest. Which, in my oppinion, would kill the game. What do you think? (sorry for teh spelling)

I would hope that they would have the sense to balance it out so that it wouldn't become a rocket fest.

Ther is a currency. Rockets are going to cost a shitload and probably for mid/close ranged only.

Actually since this game IS based on UT and quake, there's a good chance that's how it's going to be. Besides, you only have to come close with the rockets in those games, hitting a person was never the object, it was always the ground at their feet or the nearby objects.
Buried was actually correct in his comment on people who hate them don't know how to avoid them. Those of you who don't know how to avoid slow moving objects in a fast paced shooter in a wide open area might actually luck out in this department. Go read the weapon description on the rocket launcher and you'll find that it is described as being very bad for close quarter fighting. So "deathking" you pulled that one out of your ass.

That's why you keep your distance and shoot them with weapons that don't make you have to anticipate 2 seconds in advance. If someone can predict your movement, you're either too close or moving in patterns. Just like if you're using rockets, you shouldn't be going after someone with a rifle who's peeking in and out around a corner from down an alleyway.
Every weapon type should have its uses, and it should be up to the players to learn when to use each. Most DM games have at least (the very least) 3 major weapons that can all offset each other depending on the situation, so I expect that Webzen would be trying to have the same sort of balance throughout the range of guns. People are worrying too much about rocket launchers. Granted they are devastating, but only in certain circumstances. You just need to learn how to deal with them ingame and they won't be too scary for you anymore.
