Default Weapons, Ammunition & Currency

ok just thought of these and im sorry if they have been posted before.

well we know there will be a veriaty of weapons and with weapons must be ammunition and also if theres market places to buy these weapons and ammo from then there must be currency, so im wondering if we can collect weapons and ammo and cash from the bodys of anything we kill in the war zones (includeing other players) also are there any blade or blunt weapons for the 'just in case' scanareos when we do eventuely run dry on ammo?

There has to be 'loot' to be found in the instanced missions. And as for running out of ammo, I wonder if you can pick up a crowbar lying around and go Freeman on them?

Or one of those Halo swords but see the only thing that worrys me that i know shouldnt worry me but i know that im very picky is that how much variety in weapons/ vehicals will be will it be PS or MORE or less thats what i wana know to make me sleep at night

As for the pickups, in interviews they have said that there will be lots and lots of weapons that you can grab. You can dig through the old articles if you want to learn about the market and buying single use items and crap.

Good cause i LOVE lots and lots and lots of guns more options to kill ppl its like a car if ur rich lol:

you should use the head of the person that you killed for money that way if you need more money kill the dude behind you in linei i tould you we shouldnt have cut in line

My idea on weps for this, is that if you run out of ammo then you have a pistol or some small fire arm for back up, and then once you run out of ammo for that, during the instance you can pick up a dead player/npc's weapon and use it. But, once out of the instanced combat you have to get your original weapon back, but with no ammo still. Just an idea.

*EDIT* Oh, and as for currency, I'm going to think that the different races may have different currency, or maybe the different major race cities do or something.

hmm i was just reading another thread and i thought Snipers are strong at long range but what happens when the get into a close quarters fight?? thats why i think we should have either small sidearms like Maverick mentioned and/or Blunt weps

You'll be able to carry multiple weapons regardless of class I believe.

As for ammo, there seems to be ammo pickup points around the maps, although we've only seen small examples of gameplay environments, so who knows how it'll be managed in the end.

Well yeah, you should be able to carry more weapons around, but if the game has something like you can mod a weapon to be more accurate, or have a better zoom feature, or a heat vision scope or something, but you can only mod a gun as to based on your class and skill with that type of gun, same concept with vehicles maybe. But, the game has not mentioned anything about small sidearms which is making me wonder a little bit.

I like the idea of customizing things and modding weapons and armor. Also I'm wondering if there will be an ability to create weapons from parts like in a lot of other MMOs. Like maybe you have a crafting skill for weapons or armor?

This Must Be Confirmed r Unconfirmed... This would rule!!! Taking your dead opponents scrap armor and melting it down into weps to give to lil nooblets :-)

i sure do hope u get loot by killing enemy players or just some reward, els u would need to do pve to get into pvp as u will need loot from pve (ammo/money/waeps.

currency= players can put their money at home or in banks... when they die, a percentage of their money they are carrying on them is lost, depending on what rank/level they are... noobs lose 1/8 or 1/10 and high levels can lose 1/2 or all.

ammo= how about, apc's and dropships have a box of ammo that doesnt run out... it can supply all weapon types. if an enemy has the same gun as you, and drops it you can pick it up.... if you run out of ammo, you can just melee, grab another gun on the ground, use a secondary gun, or retreat and get more ammo... or keep an apc/dropship nearby for resupply.

spare guns/armor= how about you just grab these spare guns, load them into a vehicle and take them back to the city and sell them or take parts off them you might need. as for armor, i dont think you should be able to take peoples armor, that would just be lame.

Is there going to be any kind of crafting system, because maybe when you win a pvp battle you get raw material to make into what ever you want, like bullets armor or guns. If you could do that you should have a skill tree type thing for that like at first all you can do is make bullets then guns and finnally armor...

once they are dead wouldnt it be looting, i believe you mug some one when they are alive which would still be pretty cool unless it happend to you
