There Are Classes But What About Jobs?

(wasn't sure were to post this)...HI there, i was just wondering if there would be jobs in game? like a mechanic, or a technician? i'm guessing the answers no but its still worth asking.

Well let see did you search? Cause you might've found out that we don't know crap about Huxley at the moment. We could discuss jobs in Huxley but that doesn't mean they'll be there.

most likely yes because if clans control special places to get money they would use to make stuff. (My opinion)

If and maybe, I would hope so. I like games with a good player econimy, but those also can get messed up in a hurry. All we can do is wait and see... ...

well you have to get money for armour n stuff somehow, i mean it would be crap if you could only get stuff from enemys droping it

I do hope ( since it's an MMOFPS ) enemies will drop items / money cos that's one of the aspects that makes it appealing to me.

Man... I wish they won't 'Drop' the item out of nowhere like other MMOs but do a search on it something with WoW or added with animation. Even better is that, there is no rare weapons or such, only normal weapons where every kill is counted for points which would then players would be able to trade in for either money which would then players would be able to modify their weapons >< that would be nice wouldnt it? just a suggestion no need for reply XD

i remember hearing about personal vehicles and the sort.
i imagine it will be possible to get them damaged.
then someone has to fix them
havent heard anything about weapon or armor fabrication yet.
but it'd be my profession of choice for sure

I read that there is a class or skill or whatever that you can get that lets you fix vehicles in and out of battle. So I'm guess there will be other types of skills that you can get. I think I remember reading also that you might be able to fix and make weapons and armor, but I'm not sure

Well, I don't care about huxley, but as long as there is equipment to use for a mechanic or a technician, someone in my clan will be a mechanic, or technician.

if you watch the presentation of huxley on youtube or somewhere then you'd know that to get weps and armour you must gain levels and i think it said you choose what vehicle, weapon or armour you want so really what would money be for?

I'm pretty sure in one of the videos or interviews or something they mentioned buying armor/guns/ammo. I don't know if that just means using your license points so you can use the armor/guns/ammo that you want. Or if you actually use currency to buy it.

I would guess there will be some kind of currency to buy/sell things with. Either that or just have a full on trading system where the only way you can trade with other players is to give them something they want and in return you get something you want. Like a new gun for a nice piece of armor or something.

you mean like, Boss Monsters?
then you'd get a Metroid Prime style, like, you kill all smaller mobs, you get health/ammo and when you kill the Boss you get a new weapon.

that's one of the reasons why i'm looking forward to Huxley, i always wanted a MMOFPSRPG (lol), and now there is actually a shooter where you can shoot something else than other ppl.

Well we know for a fact that when you kill monsters random loot pops out of them, be it equipment, random stuff or money.
