Don't remember if anyone's said this yet, but there'll also be an ability that'll let your body detonate as a giant flash grenade if you should die in battle.

Ok, since I can't edit the message above anymore:

"Character building continues through the game by earning new types of skills and armor. For instance, sprint, double-jumping, infrared vision, cloaking, and headshot prevention will only become unlocked as players make their way up the solider ranks. Many of the skills will be available as armor implants. On top of that, each faction also has specific skills to unlock"

not really... all classes are capable of using any other of the classes weapons, armor, vehicles, and abilities... just cheaper when its ur class

yes i read that in a review somewere sounds realy cool but probly have to be a skill and limited and u can choose wen to do it withing the respawn time-just an opinion not a fact-

I bet there will be all kind of weird sockets, that will allow you many different thing, have +1% speed to vehicles and normal speed and such like faster weapon more damage and so on. Would be awesome!

Well in UT04 sprint, double jump and such arent skill just simple things you can do by doing combos. But in here im not sure how it would be.

I think the "game play" will be like UT but the customization much like WoW. The sockets will be in your armour, these might include
1) faster fire rate
2) invisibilty for a short period of time
3) invicibilty for a short period of time
4) increase of speed

The possibilities are endless....

Well i just hope that it would be like in Diablo 2: LoD. That there will be some specific items that you can only find and when you combinate in a special order they give you special stats. In diablo they were called runes and had sppecial names and when you enchant your sockets with them in a special order to form a name they will give you stats of like a set. Also that depends on what you enchant the socket, if you would enchant those runes into a 4 socket helmet it has no effect but the effects that runes have but if you would enchant the right item then and only then you would get the effects.

like i said earlier.... the sockets are for armor, not IN armor. its a korean game and most pages were translated, and as all translations... its a bit screwy.

Well if you have sockets FOR you armor it doesnt make any sense cause sockets can be for the armor and only place IN armor or ON but not just being FOR. In all games sockets are IN armor. Sockets are "Holes" in which you can inbue different enchantments, jewelery/runes/stones in diablo.

How The Inventory Works!
Read second post which is writen by me, i explain there how sockets work. There are no sockets that increase anything, only sockets that gives single skill per socket.
