How about shotgun assault rifles. Assault Shotguns!!!!

They can shoot slugs and they have an auto fire mode. Can use a clip loaded with shells. 15 shells max.

Now that has to be some good deer hunting!

I'd much rather have a gun with two functions one as an assualt rifle for distant opponents and a shot gun fire mode for when they get too close.

i am not talking about real life, the most importent thing in a game is ballance! not realism because if realism was the most importent then everyone would 1 shot kill everyone regardless of what wepons/armor you have.

and shape charges etc only work on so much armor. if they make it so that it makes you move slower then god and you can only cary one rocket i might consider calling it ballanced as almost noone outside of the main city's would carry one and everyone would halfto run back and get it.

and i am not sure i want to see multi purpouse wepons as they would be very dificult to ballance for instence riply in alien 2 taped two wepons together and it alowed her to pwn a whole army of aliens where as marines with only one wepon per where slaughtered by a handfull of aliens (thats a joke btw to make my point)

That's what the slugs are for. Longer ranges. If you don't know whta a slug is. It's a large bullet the size of a shotgun shell.

well left mouse button to fire and middle mouse button to switch fire modes (from assualt rifle to shot gun if the gun is capable) and right mouse button to use your sights like COD2

For my personal vehicle, I want something that's fast and maneuverable. Firepower is totally secondary to getting me where I need to go, so the hoverbikes might be a good option. I'd rather have a bike with some wheels on the ground, or at least something smaller.

Something with at least 2 machine guns on it. Sort of fast. Something you would use to transport soldiers in.

The APC is fast and it has 4 machinegun turrents. Though judging by the trailer it doesn't have that good of steering.

looked like it turned quite well it just had a problem with the inertia of it sending it sliding into a wall... it looked quite fine to me... i just wish there was more info avalable as i think that apc was most if not all npc...

I'm not hiding behind 3 inches of steel! If I want something killed I'll do it myself, I'm sure its more satisfying. Too bad it doesnt look like they are including any form of melee weapon.

From the looks of it the armor a player wears is more than 3 inches thick. So basically you might just be a armored vehicle with legs. :lol:
