Default vehicles in pvp

So from what i have read it sounds like you have to earn money with your character in order to purchase vehicles weapons and armor... well lets say you spend all your money on this vehicle and it is destroyed in battle.... do you have to buy it again? or is it permanately with you in the game unless you sell it?

I imagine you'd lose it permanently. Now, I'm hoping if that's the case then you can purchase an insurance policy to reimburse you for your losses.

oh ok... well yea cuz it would kinda piss me off if every time my vehicle blew up i had to buy a whole new one.

well you have to buy but i dont think anybody is sure if you ride is "totaled" after its destroyed... maybe you just dont get it for the rest of the battle or something.

EVE Online, despite it's relative deficiencies (aka it's pretty boring) has a great in game economy. Your losses there are permanent, which means you have to be more cautious and tactical. They used insurance policies which [usually] prevented insurance fraud yet were quite valuable.

Hopefully Webzen doesn't go with a microtransaction policy like other asian market games where you spend real world money buying vehicles. Just hoping Webzen releases a bit more specific details, people who've been waiting since '05 or longer are getting impatient and are thirsty for details.

Vehicles on the battlefield spawn somewhat like they do in other FPS like the Battlefield series and UT.

The vehicles you buy (from what I understand) are mainly for transportation around the capital city where there will be no PvP fighting.

I have a couple of ideas of what would work well for this vehicle quagmire:
1.) Instantly respawn vehicle after battle in full health (destroyed or not)
2.) Respawn vehicle with the damage that was inflicted during battle and make owner('s) pay a repair fee in order to get it back to full health
3.) Send vehicle to "repair shop" after battle and make owner wait a certain amount of time proportional to the damage in order for the vehicle to be repaired for no fee.

-I believe that the second or third option would be the best option, but the money making system must be quite adaptable in order to maintain a reasonable amount of money for repairs and then everything else in order to make things run smoothly.

We don't know yet if the vehicles you buy for city transportation can even be damaged. There won't be PvP in the capital cities so expensive vehicles getting blown up every five seconds might not be a problem.

However, they did say that there may be some PvE elements of the game that involve the capital cities (probably some hybrids attacking or something) so they might put something like what you said in there.

Thats why if you make a guild clan team etc.. you Pay like a membership fee for materials tanks apcs aircraft etc.. also property so you form a strong well oiled well financed machine
