It killed WoW for the PvPers. Seeing as how it's a care bear PvE game where it's main selling point is an unhealthy addiction it's no suprise that 5.5 million losers still play it.

i think they will have many instanced places because 120 total for 5000 will be a hole in hell... not to mention they have non instanced pvp areas so i think some will be higher than others. p.s. this game will put planetside in the a category with pong, so stop comparing them.. ud have a better chance at comparing doom 3 or UT with this game.

I don?t think WoW sucks its just that there was a large group of people played that game for the pvp fun of it. I know I did but the battle grounds kinda messed it up for us.

Blizzard.. not SOE.

And while the WoW bashing is going on I suppose I can comment. I recently quit as well, but I'm not really gonna bash it. I grew tired of being addicted and simply moved on, but it was still a pretty good game.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're a loser. Not a loser because you work for Blizzard, but a loser because you feel the need to lie and say you do.

Also, it's clear you weren't a PvPer. Having reached Grand Marshal and experiended the horendous honor grind that is WoW PvP, along with it's (essentially) 2 limited, instanced, non-dynamic battlegrounded PvP I can safely say that PvP in that game is broken.

So, Mister "I werk 4 BlizArd!11 L0L" how about you get on fixing that there problem, eh buddy.?

I don't know why people find it hard to believe that nick works for Blizzard. It's a pretty big company, after all, and there wouldn't be any reason for him to lie about it. Obviously we'll find out when he goes to E3 and gets us some info on Huxley (make sure to take some pics of the booth babes for me, since I can't come this year... :( )

I would like to say that i think it is VERY important to have many people play this game. I think it is also important in the Future that this game makes no cap or a higher cap say 250vs 250 or when technology improves maybe even 1000vs1000 lol but i think there should be bigger pvp then 100vs100 even tho that is pretty good to todays standards but i hope it improves as for weapons i hope there will be more weapons and vehicals then PS but no like suicide things and i ALSO think lol it would be a good idea buying vehicals thank u for reading this lovely lovely post

You guys have to remember that (this may have been mentioned before), Planetside continents were actually big instances.

It was just the clever warfare design that kept the combat focused on very specific areas, which is why the game was fun. Having huge battles on large maps while keeping the combat focused in small areas is what made the battles feel so large scale and huge. You had huge combats for each base and slowly wiped the opposition off the map(literally).

In BF2 it's possible to go behind enemy lines and capture "bases". This thins out the battles, but it's necessary in a non-mmo game. In Planetside it's set up like a web, you only have to protect 1-3 bases at once, and there were always enough players to have large scale battles at each base. If you lost all your bases, well there were always the other continents
http://planetside.station.sony.com/i...manual/map.jpg

I'm just saying that if Huxley pulls this off correctly, then the number of players won't matter, the battles will always feel intense and fun. If the cap is 240, fine, shrink the map slightly, shouldn't matter too much.
Planetside warfare+New Huxley Innovations=fun time!

(All of this is based on my old Planetside experiences, I'm sure many things have changed since then, please feel free to correct me)

You have a point on one side of me and the other says this

More people can offer more things there for more fun

u see its SOOO fun when you have different ppl many many many ppl that can form organizations such as platoons squads and etc. that orders organization and organization in real life and in games is extreamly extreamly important it unables stealth coordination with other team mates and umm FUN! so in a way ur right but i do suggest that in time they bump up the capacity or just get rid of the capacity even tho there would be lag for those who dont have good comps but not for me lol

I played WoW for about 2 months, and it seemed alright. Left it with no problem, for no particular reason, and I dont care much either way. I am however, wondering why BuzzCut has such a raging disdane for WoW players, and is incapable of believing someone who works at Blizzard could ever be interested in games, and therefore post on game forums, especially one so eagerly awaited. lol, sounds like someone needs a nap. Not everyone works at a Wal-Mart. :P Nothing wrong with that, I've done my time there, just saying that some people move on to other jobs. Is it so far fetched? I dont want to hurt your feelings, but you need to understand that when you start to lose your point in a conversation/argument, you dont need to start calling someone a liar in order to sway focus away from the fact that your post sounds like it came from that screaming German 12 year old from the off-topic thread, freaking out and breaking things when the smallest thing doesnt go your way. So calm down, and try to have a little fun, and dont flame the innocent, BuzzCutPsyco. Have fun!
