In huxley i believe it would be spread out like on large maps in BF2142 so im not so worried. I just dont like having K/D rate below 2.
The gameplay seems a bit different from BF2142. So kiss that ratio good bye.

The only thing that concerns me is how 100v100 battles will start. Some idiot can't just run up and start a fight. If they did do it like that, think of me. I'll always be the mischievous one who starts the fights... Did it all the time in PlanetSide.

I dropped off at an area fully controlled by another faction in an infiltration suit (cloaked). Snuck in a tower. Hacked it, then ran to other towers on a cloaked 4 wheeler. Eventually huge fights start.

Well i hope there will be several spawnpoints along the side, i mean like one team had 3 or more spawnpoints on like North-East, East and South-East while the other team has other spawnpoints on the North-West, West and South-West so that the team will start moving out from several points to different point not like all noob rushing to take one flag and then all met up in the middle for massive meat beat. Noobs always head for places where most ofthe enemies are that's why i earn lots of points by going around and capturing all flags and stuff then my team just simply squize them in the middle from all sides and they lose lots of teammates and start spawning at the base.
Even if the combat will be fast paced it doesn't mean that there wont be any tactics cause if your opponent is good he always have tactics which makes him good, not rush and take flag but go around and take the enemies from behind or from there where they never expect you to come from pretty much as Guyver says.

just because there will be urban maps doesn't mean it'll be a giant slaughterfest. It's not like 200 people will be fighting each other all crammed into one allyway. More like 200 people spread out through an entire city, maybe getting more destroyed as you move out from the center or something (I really hope they have some awesome looking maps :D ).

I hope they have some PvP jungle maps too, like in that PvE screenshot. Jungle maps are fun, especially if you like sneaking around with your squad and then running into another squad on accident lol then of course watching everything snowball into a nice fight

Well, from the expirience of BF2 and BF2142, all people gather in the same point just to slaughter eachother and don't care much about take flags, some do but most dont. I mean there wil be people like be who cares more for the objectives as i stated earlier. But noobs with low morale don't care if their team loses or wins, they think if it's FPS it' only made for shooting and nothing else but shooting so they all gather for mass-slaughter. Pretty much like in Alterac Valley in WoW where everybody goes into mass-slaughter and only few people go around for the objectives.
The only way to avoid this is to build a PvP system very water-proof. Something like those points you capture are very vital or give much points for you and your team or something about those points that would be spread out a lot on the fields that would make everybody fight for those control points and not fight each other just to kill eachother but to capture the control points.

Well what i meant by the boss at the end of the battleground idea is that each team has a faction boss that sits on one side of the map and each team is trying to defeat the other teams faction boss. The first team to kill the other teams faction boss wins.

I don't like the idea cause it reminds me of Alterac Valley from WoW, the game i really don't like but i've played.
Anyhow, please do define "End of the round" cause usualy you have limited amount of something and the one who rans of that or reaches the top limit first they win. In BFs for example in conquest mode you have tickes, the amount of tickets depends on the amount of players and maps size, larger maps can contain more players and have more tickets, who rans out of tickets first they lose. Or you can gather resourses by holding some point most of the time like in WoW and win at when it reaches some specific amount.
Anyhow, there is so called "Titan Mode" in BF2142 where you capture specific point that after capture immidietly launches a silo and after few minutes of being captured by one team and not neutrolized nor capture by the other team it launches another missles. Those missles launches toward the titen that take down the shields and after you can assault the titan and destroy it's core.
You can make this into what you say, you capture some point to take down defenses of one boss and when they are down you can either go attack the enemies boss or mantain the capture points so the enemy wont get you defenses down.

What i'm saying is there might not be only one type of game type to play in battlegrounds. There could be a CTF game type of the "Alterac Valley" game type. However the game is still in production and they can still make a lot more to the game. They could also make patches like WoW.

The only intrests that i had of WoW were, questing and since i didn't have to pay anythig but played on somebodies else account i did play the game cause otherwise i would never play WoW. SO my basic intrests and the only thing that kept me playing were quests, i reached lvl 60 there was nothing but BGs and Insatance left to do which was very boring, so i left the game, same thing with Burning Crusade in hell.
So if it's an MMO it does mean that patches are constantly there and updating the game in such quality that everythnig is new whoel the time, basicly most of updates are to fix bugs/glitches and make the game more fair since players complain: OOO pyroblast does too high damage! *whine* *whine* babycry. So the only thing that really gives the game new features are expansions which are pretty much the same in Single Player games.
Why i would love Huxley is, i love FPS cause it's very fun so if every quest is finished i wouldn't get tired of PvP for very long time.
