There should be a auto kick for really high pings otherwise gameplay will be really bad.

that depends on how the game handles ping.
in some games u can actually get an advantage by making your ping spike temporarily. the best way to handle it imo is make the other players seem to move faster when you have high ping instead of the other way around. |

Looking at the fact that Webzen has so much experience with MMO's i don't think you'll have to worry about ping alot.
The most ping related issues are 'your' issues i.e.: low bandwith or a bad connection. And there will be a lot of 'instanced' places. This is not some new company making an MMO, this is Webzen we are talking about, so please give them some credit and lets start talking & discussing about interesting things other than to worry about ping issues. -Dynatics, |

i doubt that ping will be much of a problem as that will most likely be handled pretty well by webzen.
Id be more worried about FPS. Hopefully I wont have to worry about it much as I will be building a computer for this game before it comes out, but what happens when there are 80+ people in one battle zone? Any computer's FPS will drop some when the entire screen is made up of players running around firing off rounds at each other. |

Although I do blame ping faulty ESPECIALLY when you fire 10 clips of bullets in your opponent (Rainbow Six: Las Vegas), and they just ignore it somehow, jump off for like 10 feet, get up behind you but seem to be around the corner, but shoots you anyway. That's the point where i scream "WHAT THE *monkeymonkey*?!" People that host games and don't even have enough bandwith to even support a two player co-op, should not be in the world of online gaming. Laggy lobbies buggers me like hell. cheers |

I don't see why people are jumping to the conclusion they'll be excluded from anything with different regional servers, since I don't think Webzen will force us to play only on the nearest server. If there's different servers, we'll be able to go on any one we choose.
Most people will play on their local servers, since they'll have the benefit of having a better ping than on another server. But if someone in Europe wants to play on a US server, I doubt anything will prevent them from doing so. |
