Im just wondering how much of a dissadvantage snipers are going to have in this game? Because the gameplay vids i saw the players were runnin hella fast.
Also wondering if snipers had some sorta alternate close range weapon? |

With the insane amount of skills that you can get as you level up your character, I'm sure there will be a good amount of ways you can be a successful sniper.
As to people jumping around all crazy all the time, it was the same way in UT. People jump, double jump, dodge all over the place all the time, but you can still get a hit off. mostly because the shock rifle hits instantly lol, but even if it wasn't, people tend to stop every now and then, even if it's for a second, thats enough time to get a shot off. i'd imagine sniping will be more useful in larger scale battles, like the 60v60, and probably not so much for small scale battles in small spaces.
just like you pick your character, you'll also have to pick your battles. |

depends what your talking about...like if your talking just an encounter like world pvp then a sniper can have invisibility in which case his prey :D wouldn't have a reason to be jumping around and stuff. Then in the large scale battles there is so many people to shoot at your bound to get someone :D

I believe that he means that you choose the maps for your class, if you are a Phantom who snipes you rather choose fieldy maps where most of the area is exposed, if you are enforcer you choose urban maps, you do the close combat with no problem. I guess you see where im heading =)

Well I image each class will their favorite maps and it will balance all the classes out...matter of fact there will probably only be specific areas of specific maps that favor classes to be extremely fair.

A good sniper will be able to manage on every map no matter what.
Im sure also all maps will have sniper posts for campers hehe. Now it depends what you understand when you make reference to the game speed, because you cant expect enemy to stand still aka Battlefield so you could take your time to aim, wipe the saliva falling in the corner of your lips, put hand on the mouse again, shoot, damn you missed but no matter he is still in same position, insert another coin. (joking ok? |

yeah obviously each class will have some advantages over another, then some disadvantages to another, which is of course the other classes advantage :D So all in all it should be really even, I don't think that there is going to be a best class. Just pick what you like, its not like you have 50 lvls of skillz that you can choose whatever you want with lol :D
