hmm sure a mouse and keyboard is good, but you can become really good with a controller aswell, in regular, PC players think that controllers are dodgy (in general), but if you're like me ---> only used to hand controllers then you play better with that than a mouse... the only reason to why i really haven't gotten into PC games (more than RTS games) is because i think that PC technology advances way to fast leading to a more regular update demand, with a console like the 360 you know that you have a really good system (considering and comparing the prices to a computer with the same abillity as a Xbox 360). and the biggest reason (atleast for me) why im into the 360 is because i NEVER have to worry about if THAT new game i just bought will work on my console, because i know that it will, that doesn't work with computers, there's always a game that won't fit my computer specs (IMO).

(sorry about going off topic) ----> i really can't say that i care about the differences between PC and 360 PvP in huxley, i think that there will be huge differences between the systems, and i have to accept that, which i do, as long as 360 players can play more than 32v32 (if) pc players would be able to play 100v100, if that was the case then i would most definantly be making some noise >_<

well most of us all used controllers back before we had computer games. i know i played a great deal of goldeneye in my day and was pretty damn good. with that said, i also moved on to computer gaming and it's not hard to figure out that a mouse is much more precise and quicker than a controller. there's just a huge advantage for pc players over 360 that it would be ridiculous not to split them.

however, the N64 only had one stick, not two but you are correct, the mouse is more precise than a stick, and there's a good reason for that too, we really don't need to bring it up since we all know how a stick and a mouse works. although i really can't say that i care about which system has got the most precise alternative, you can be good on a controller, and you can be good with a mouse. another reason to why i choose Xbox over PC is because it's a lot harder to cheat on the 360, and it never comes unnoticed

Well maybe they'll reconsider after seeing what Fasa Studios has done with Shadowrun.

Lastly, how would an xbox360 player get a PC player's attention if he wanted to buy or sell somthing intown with him? Because surely you cant type on a 360, and the PC player may not have a mic.
...uhh You can buy any usb keyboard and hook it up to the 360...and it works..

but you can't tell your mouse4 or mouse5 buttons to act as something they are not, for further customization

if this game allows alt+(key) and ctrl+(key) combinations, then you can just tell your mouse that mouse4 is alt, and mouse5 is ctrl. i don't kno if you can do that with xbox.

Yeah, though it would've been a lot of fun and extremely challenging to beat a skilled PC player, it just isn't plausible. I honestly don't ever see the PC vs Console war ever ending, but on the same page oddly enough it very well may never begin either. I've tried to push this video into the eyes of many console players thinking they can win, I'll go ahead and link it once more.

Get Quaked III.
  • this video is a very long montage of tournament play for some of the top Quake III players in the world.
  • nothing in this video is sped up, if anything its slowed down at points.
  • the pin point speed and precision aiming while strafe jumping at this pace just isn't possible on a controller.
I chose this video because considering the engine, playability, weapons, style and pace; Huxley is very reminiscent of one of the most competitive games of all time.

Tricking it 2: Quake III
  • this video is a montage showcasing the maneuverability of incredibly skilled Quake III players.
I chose this video to show depth of metagame that goes into mobility alone.

Lol Ican only imagine an Xbox player watching the video and being like?

omfgwtfbbq how can you aim that good? He must be hacking? How can you possibly not have to strafe left and right to actually HIT your target?
Why doesn't he not suck balls at aiming?

Answer: PC. Get one.

Just because you can increase your speed on your crappy Xbox controller doesn't mean your going to be more precise. On the contrary, it just means your going to zip past your target even faster. Also...why make it cross platform in cities? I don't want to see abunch of Xbox players running into walls, and if you want to talk to them whats the point of typing? Can xbox gamers actually read?
