From the videos and screen shots that I have seen, I think the game will be rated "T", though there could be some content or changes that we haven't seen or will be added that could bring an "M" rating.

I agree with T, although I hope there's an option to allow for more gore. I want to see some pink mist when I get a good head shot, maybe brains and blood spraying the wall. Gore is yummy, blood makes games good. It looks better and makes you grit your teeth and hold that trigger down long after your target is dead. Otherwise it feels like shooting a bean bag. Games like FEAR have ample amounts of gore. But probably not, a rating of M vastly reduces the number of people that buy games in US since WalMart and Best Buy don't sell games with that rating to < 17. There's a lot of 14 year old gun nuts who think they can shoot up school dual weilding pistols (see Wisconsin school shootings 2007), the perfect consumer audience.

Actually, you're probably right. Halo 3, UT's and other fps have M rating. But no, there's not sufficient gore. There's a few poofs of blood, and flying bodies. But I see no bodies bursting into clouds of scarlet while the torso is ripped from the legs by a shotgun blast. Not satisfying enough. I want persistent blood smears to stain battlefields, even if bodies don't stay. Just so I know 'a lot of people died here'.
