I might be a bit late, but yeah i think it should. That GeForce 8400 isn't the best, but it should be able to play the game at near-max/max video settings from what the system requirements says. I got a $220 US Geforce 8800 GT coming tomarrow, so I think I should be find video wise.

If you are looking for a gaming rig, you get what you pay for. I can tell you that the video card you are looking to get (hope you didnt buy that yet) is below the suggested requirements for all the game that came out last quarter of 07. Sure you can run games, but the chances of the game stuttering skipping and not handling the full load of games coming out today may frustrate you.

Also, all new computers are shipping with MS vista at the very least, in order to run that OS without any hang ups or preformance hits, you are going to need 1.5 gigs of ram to run smoothly.

Look at the games you are most interested in playing and go off that, and knock it up a notch of three so your budget pc doesnt need an upgrade as soon as the newest, latest greatest game comes out in the summer or so.

Great computer for web surfing and office/study work

The specs should still be correct as far as I know, and your rig will run the game. But I would still recommend that you upgrade your CPU primarily. Although when you do that you most likely have to buy a new motherboard along with new RAM and graphics card. I have pretty much the same specs as you right now but I will build a new rig once the game is about to arrive.

Newegg and Tigerdirect all the way. It's super easy to learn to build your own PC and way more cost effective.
