I don't believe that really... On official webside (http://www.webzengames.com/) they say it will come out in 2007 in fall.
If the game was about to come out year 2006 and now 2007 why 2009? Im just amazed where they got that info from! xD Plus the date is weird... 01/01/2009 o.0

Well as an employie for Gamestop I can safely say that is wrong. (EB and Gamestop are the same company) Whenever a game is said to come out the first of the month that most likely means it is a guess. In this case a really bad guess. It is prolly a mistake and they ment 2008. That is more reasonable. In fact it has officially been stated by Webzen that open beta will start in oct-dec of 2007 and be ready for lauch(hopefully) within jan-feb of 2008. I can wait for that. Its not that far away

thanks for info but everywere i go it says 2007 and beta is guna be oct-dec! and release 2008 little pushing it but the beta isnt to far i hope i can get to part of the beta

The only reason everywhere says it is coming out is 2007 is because of the lack of information.
I found my information in the march 7th, 2007 stock report from webzen. ( I would link but dont remember how to get there.) The chart showed the estemated beta and launch of all the games that Webzen has been working on. I just distinctly remember what the dates estemated for Huxley were

As a gamer I would hope for the release to be by the end of '07, but at this point that isn't very likely. I would guess a beta by the end of the year and a release early to mid '08.

I can see 2008, it will be a rough waiting time, but I might be able to endure it (I hate WoW anymore) But 2009? They had a running fluent demonstration of huxley in E3 05, which means they had to be working on it by 2004 or before. It's like damn....come on.

Well if they're any bit correct, then we atleast have 3 months up to 2 years up to waiting, so thats a lot of time to chat about what tiny tiny, no information Webzen has given us, so I dont think we need any locked threads here :O

I hope thats the case, I can wait till 08, but if its any later im saying GG and picking up either the battlefield series or the new mmorpg's that are coming out. They've had to been working on it by 2004 atleast, probably earlier to have a E3 05 demonstration, I know its a big game and all but thats a damn long time to work on it.

Well it's all about having a well organazed group of people, there are mostly the art designers with all their super cool graphic ideas arguing with programers, art designers want it very much while the programers will have lots of job to make that little thing.
So the longer it takes the more things they have straighten out and agreed on which means that the game would be great. It's worth waiting.
Plus if there are cahnges in game to something even better that also takes time, and as they say: "Never rush into things".

True, but not every single last peice of content, weather, and total TOTAL class equality is needed, they can fix it down the line with patches. Just realise a good a game, if it needs any changes down the line then add it.
