What remains to see if wether or not it'll be Vista-exclusive.
Soon I can't take this anymore, I NEED to know so that I can either calm down or get started as fast as possible to look for another game.

Well if Vista will cost that much at that point i would simply buy NVidia GeForce 8800 GTS and enjoy other games...

Well, that's you. I get easily obsessed with things, and then I mean REALLY obsessed. If I don't get information wether or not this will be playable to me, I'm gonna go mentally torturing myself for months until the info gets out. It's really a pain being me sometimes.

Well i am "obsessed" with the game but i get control over myself although im mentaly ill, who isn't lol? Anyhow i am going to buy new Graphic card anyhow so buy the game plus Vista and i bet the game is p2p... Gonna start a thread about it (p2p?). So i got in my savings only like 1450 dollors and i'll be vasting much o ngraphic card... Vista so expensive? No thx...

Most likely this will not be decided for another 6 months or so. Shadowrun recently was released as a Vista only game with cross platform play on windows live. I haven't seen solid numbers in terms of sales for the PC version of Shadowrun but I do know that it's abysmal compared with the 360 release. Not only do people not want to dish out the money for Vista but the popular stigma of the OS itself is making people leery of using it.

Due to the fact that the PC version of Huxley will be released 6 months prior to the 360 version it is safe to assume that Webzen will actually want to sell enough to start paying their investors back. Like I said earlier, in 6 months we'll know how Shadowrun turned out and I'm sure that Webzen is also keeping an eye on this cross-platform shooter because of their similarities.

I myself threw vista on a new partition of my tower for a dual boot just to play Shadowrun PC side. I have to say that I'm enjoying the game greatly. Vista does suck up alot of system resources but so far the game itself runs fine. Despite this, I wouldn't expect a company like Webzen to bank their entire development on Microsoft actually fixing their OS. That's like asking a crazed chipmunk to swim across the atlantic to see how the weather was on the other side.

On the plus side, if a cross platform game like Shadowrun can succeed in these conditions there may be a reversal in Webzen's changes in which they regain one of their strongest selling points, cross-platform play.

Ok next, where did you hear that the PC version would be released 6 months before the xbox? Because I have looked everywhere and it sounds and looks like a PC fanboy rumor(no offense). There is no info what so ever on that. Also its an MMO they will release the copies at the same time. They have to other wise it wont become balanced. If cross platform is used then they really cant release the games at different times. Shadowrun didnt and I havnt seen a game that has... well any big game that is.

He speaks the truth! Wait until Webzen themselves says what OS you will need, don't trust anybody but Webzen...

With that being said, it looks like it might be Vista to me... They said there will be cross-platform interconnectivity in the cities, so Xbox players and PC gamers can trade with one another...
