All I can say is wow, this game is awesome. Cross platform seems to be working smoothly. Got home around 6pm last night and ended up playing it for 12 hours straight. The only complaint I have is the time it takes to connect to a ranked match. But that's probably resulting from how many people are currently playing it. A great game that I'd recommend for anybody with the hardware to run it. $45 bucks.

I can't say for certain how it runs. The only thing it's currently doing is running shadowrun. With that it loads 800 megs of ram on desktop. It seems to run fine, but like i say i've not done anything besides the game so general performance isn't there.

It will be focused more towards Vista, if they're planning to include the 360 and the PC gamers across the same servers and not split them into two separate groups then Vista is a must. After all that’s what Microsoft is supporting for cross system gaming. I'm no way saying XP won't work or be supported but I would expect them to support the newer features that are available. There is no point in making it for an older system spec that will go out of date eventually, the game market always future proofs themselves in some way or another.
Also considering it will be using the UT3 engine the graphics cards you’ll need to play at minimum will need to be able to use shader model 3. So if you can't run games like Splinter Cell: Double Agent or Rainbow Six: Las Vegas its a good bet you'll have issues with the game when it's released. I prefer XP but I'll swithc over once I know it will be worth my time and my money. This is of course my own opinion and conclusions, so it could be miles off and they could support Linux. :P J/K we'll just have to wait and see. |

I'm not guaranteeing it will be but if you look at Shadowrun which is the first game that allows 360 players to play PC gamers online. in-order to do so on the PC you must have Vista and pay for Live.
I find that annoying because I was so interested in Shadowrun, but now I can't be bothered. The way I see it to get the game it would cost me £26 for the game, £10 for Live and about £70 for Vista. That's about £100 (or near $190), far as I'm concerned that’s way too much cash for one game that I may not even like when it comes down to it. If Huxley is going to allow 360 gamers to play PC, I'm praying to god they don't do the same as Shadowrun. I'm not saying they will lose sales but they will either force a lot of us to change OS or put off a lot of people who would have bought it come release. Just so you know I don't have an issue with Vista bar the fact I'd need to buy it and there is still many issues with it thats perfectly fine with XP so I will wait till I have to buy it. |

that is cool coz id be able to talk to my mates who use it on the xbox (most of them ,even if they do have an xbox360, will be using it on the PC anyway lol) but not good for the pc type if it comes out for vista im gonna have to not get it, the vista computer weve got hasnt got the requiremements for halo2, so i dont see why it will for huxley. noooo, the next generation of gaming has been ruined by some new rubbish type of windows 'vista' that sucks big time, if only it came out in 2006, then itd be for xp

ALSO! I wish it was PVP but u should think on it.... PC users would have a great advantage. especialy with flying steering aiming (Pretty much covers it) 360 users would get owned.
