Of course it's easier said than done, but if it was worth it, I'd definately give it a try. It ain't rocket science after all |

I've looked at the prices, and building your own computer is 10%-20% cheaper than buying a computer of the same specs from a manufacturer. I have a single core AMD Athlon 64 3800+ (2.4Ghz), 1gig RAM, and a 7600 GT. I'm planning on getting a new rig with a dual core, 2 or more gigs of RAM, and SLI with the 7600. I don't know if SLI'ing with the 7600's is worth it though. What do you guys think about SLI with a 7600 GT? Is it worth it?

As of yet, I haven't seen in any reviews the advantage of SLI, except on high resolutions. Imo, you should compare the price of the SLI card to a newer model (7900 GT for example). It might be better to change your video card than buy the SLI version. |

Just got the new Duo core :D so I am not worried,my PC can handle it. plus judging by the demonstraton vids at E3 it will have sick graphics!!!! I am worried and upset about 1 thing... running at 70 MPH in the game! holys sh!T thats fast paced. Oh well,as long as we can still be able to have a little bit of statigy... I will be Ok. but if not.. Oh well.

when i first got unreal tournament 2003, i was 99% sure that my worse computer would not play it. but of course it did, but most of the detail wasn't there, and not nearly as many nice effects.. but it ran smooth still, even on the crap computer.
this is probably how huxley will be also. they just show you the previews and movie clips of a higher end computer, but it will most likely be playable on mid-range computers without much problem. it may look like a completely different game when you compare a good video card vs a bad one. |
