Just was interested to know what people would like to use to control the various aircraft in Huxley?
I am going to go with a joypad rather than a joystick I think, I will keep my joystick for Microsoft Flight Sim hehe. What are you going to use? |

Meh, I'm good with keyboard and mouse... if I can I'll attempt to set it up for the same controls I use when using flying vehicles in games such as Halo (PC version) or the flying vehicle in onslaught mode of UT2004. Keyboard and mouse user FTW! although that would be funny if someone found a way to adapt the Wii remotes so they can be used as alternate control methods in online games, alas I don't foresee that happening in the near future sadly.

i Agree, Keyboard and mouse all the way, I would think it was more advantageous to use mouse and keyboard than a joystick. but i guess youd get more of that real flight feel with a joystick. a gamepad however is not such a bad idea either.

Vehicles are for chumps! Not really, I just avoid them because I'm pretty pathetic in them. Personally I hope the maps aren't vehicle dominated...I'd much rather see vehicles serve as fast transports to the battle front, and the battle itself be on foot. But Im sure there will be a balance of both.

I would assume that vehicle control will be similar to that of UT2K4 which works beautifully with mouse and keyboard. Mice are so precise; joysticks are so... sloppy. |

If we get some serious flying action like we have in BF2, than I think that the hardcore fliers will eventually be using joysticks. I remember being part of an air crew in BF2 and all of us used joysticks to fly our jets and helicopters. But if we're talking about some smaller sci-fi looking craft that doesn't go blazingly fast across the entire Huxley world than I think most guys will stick with a mouse
